Goodreads asked P.A. Kane:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

P.A. Kane With my first novel and the book I'm working on now writer's block hasn't been much of an issue. In both cases I've had basic outline in my head of where I wanted to go, but that doesn't mean I didn't run into road blocks and dead ends. They were constant. When this happens the first thing I do is grind a bit with the language. If that doesn't work I step away and get a cup of coffee, pet the dog, fold laundry. Kind of do a soft reboot. Sticking to this process things eventually work out.
