Writing urban fantasy and paranormal romance, I get to create worlds exactly how I want them. Full of adventure, romance, danger, intrigue, action, and of course, intense characters with a myriad of quirks and eccentricities. Having that kind of power is liberating, and exciting, and I relish it. I also love being able to work out my own frustrations in my stories, writing parts of myself into my work, and getting all those #GutsOnThePage. It's cathartic.
