I am reading your book 'The Radium Girls' at the moment, and taking a look on your Goodreads page was surprised to find that your other books are mostly romance / historical fiction novels. Could I ask what prompted you to write about these real life women and their fight for justice ?

I do write romance. The Kate Moore who wrote The Radium Girls is a different Kate Moore. Sorry for the confusion about the authorship. I hope that what's "real" in my books is the emotion and the interaction between people who are falling in love in the midst of their families and their ordinary lives. No desert islands for me.
