Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Katherine McIntyre My upcoming book Poisoned Apple was inspired by an old contemporary Snow White story I'd written. While I'd written the old story years ago and it was cringeworthy, I still loved the concept. So, I did an overhaul and gave Neve a bit more sarcasm and spunk to tide her through the wave of crappy things she has to deal with. I liked the idea of modern day Snow White since it's got a lot of exploitable drama. However, I wanted to add more sass and use it as an excuse to cover some big internal struggles regarding loss of a parent and absentee parents. (Nothing like my own parents though, they're lovely people)
