Margaret Mitchell's "Gone with the Wind" is my favorite novel of all time so I'd have to say Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler. The turbulent and complicated relationship between these two self-centered characters makes for a compelling story. Some critics have described the movie as "the most magnificent picture ever." It's worth watching if you haven't seen it --and worth seeing again if you have!
