Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Louise Miller Oh, I love this question. And it's a hard one--there are SO MANY.

My all-time fictional couple, hands down, is Rick and Ilsa from Casablanca. What a love story, and what an ending. I've seen Casablanca at least 25 times in my life, and I always get something new with each viewing.

(one of) My favorite fictional book couple is Sean and Puck in Maggie Stiefvater's The Scorpio Races. That is one of my all-time favorite books. Their love for each other feels so organic and true. the story is thrilling, and their relationship unfolds so beautifully--gah, now I want to go read it again! it's also a FABULOUS audio book.
