Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Lisa Emme That's a tough one. I love how the relationship developed between Roarke and Dallas in the JD Robb "In Death" series. Mercy and Adam from Patricia Briggs' "Mercy Thompson" series and Kitty and Ben from Carrie Vaughn's "Kitty Norville" series are also favourites. I think I like all three couples because you can feel the chemistry between them. It wasn't just "insta-love", they had to work at it. I like that they have become partners, neither person taking a lesser role to the other, they work as a team. I also like that they aren't perfect. They have disagreements and butt heads occasionally, but they always have each other's back.
