Cress is an unusual demon. He was not born demon, but human, in the 1600's. They always thought he was strange because of his blood red hair, and the fact that he had 'turned up', instead of being born to a mother. They were always suspicious.
One Sunday, he hadn't turned up at church, along with his best friend, Alfredo. The priest searched for them, wanting to give them a good beating for missing it, and found them in the woods. Together. Unclothed. **Take the hint**
The priest was horrified, and called them spawn of the devil. He, along with five men, tied them to stakes, still unclothed, and lit the fire.
They were like two halves of a hole, and together summoned a demon, but the demon was terrified of them. They could not understand why the demon was running, and, infuriated, they broke free of the stakes. Alfredo had been badly burned, and died after breaking free, but his sole morphed into Cress, who had been holding him up. They, as one, rampaged on the village. They were as strong and talented as a demon, and killed everyone, even though they were only 14.
Cress had sat, naked, alone, in the smoldering ruins, with burns all over their body. The demon came out of hiding, and took them away. They had become a demon by their own free will, they had become as the priest had called them, but not for the same reasoning.
This is why Cress is soft and comfy, unlike the cold of most demons. The human has been dispelled from him, but has an interest in clothing, emotions, though they barely show up. He still has the fire in their heart, and scars the shape of flame dancing up their legs and torso. (hide spoiler)]

You should make a bar or something where the people-less demons can hang out, not part of the official role play, but for fun on the side, so demons can use up spare time.
