Am I going to cry when I read Resistance like I did in Rising? LOL I am not sure I am over it yet. I have read 2 books recently, including yours that has made me cry. This is not like me. Great writing!

Awwww, Tina! I hate to admit it but yes. I confess that in all the things I've ever written, I cried more in writing the ending of Resistance than anything else. I actually had to stop a few minutes, wondering why I was breaking my own heart. But, the ending is crucial to the plot of book three, Revolution. :)

How many books do you plan on writing in the Setti series?

Good question, Jessen. There will be six total--five in the series and a prequel.

Book three--Revolution (Set in NY and a journey "across the pond" to London)
Book four--I keep wavering on this title, so I'd rather hold onto it. (Set in London and across the moors of England.)
Book five--Redemption (Journey to Norway and into another realm altogether. That's all I'll say about that for now.)
Book six--Resurrection--A prequel telling the stories of our characters' Setti ancestors in the medieval era.

Oh this series is going to be amazing. I understand about the tears I must shed, all part of reading a great series!

Wow, 25% in and finding it uncanny how a hurricane is hitting Stephanie in Louisianna right now and that's such a major part of Rising. It's eerie! What inspired you to include the hurricane as such a major part of the story?

As a side note, I hope you're doing Ok with Isaac?

What a coincidence, David! I'm writing a blog on this very topic as we speak. (Well, obviously, I'm writing a little, then walking away from it, then writing some more. Lol.)

Growing up in the Deep South, I've known how the impending storm causes fear in a community, especially after Katrina. Since the very idea of fear plays such a large part of the plot in my story, I thought how appropriate that the evil enemy would literally ride the storm into the world.

And I can happily report that even though a tree fell across the power line in the backyard, we still have electricity. Thank you for asking. :)

(You are sooooo sneaky.) Um, yes, definitely some yummy romantic scenes, but I'm not telling who will be in them. ;)

I think it would be interesting to see Jeremy in a yummy scene. *big smile*

Ha, ha! Funny you should say that. I'm planning on writing a certain "deleted scene" for Resistance that I think will make you happy. ;)

So, is the group going to meet some new people with awesome Setti powers too? Will they clash or group together?

Ooh good question. *eagerly awaiting a response* :)

Hmmmmm... Yes, there will definitely be new clansmen with Setti powers. As a matter of fact, there will be in just about every book although some become central to the plot and others are backdrop characters.

Do they group together? For the most part, yes. Their bond as Setti is strong and will unite them instinctually. They have a common enemy so this automatically brings them together.

Will some clash? Um, without a doubt, but that has a great deal to do with romantic intentions than anything else. Powerplays will come into play but will also stem from hidden emotions. :)

And I think you are going to LOVE some of the new characters. Or love to hate, maybe. ;)

Ahhhhh I'm so excited! The tension is killing me haha
