Christian Men discussion

I am brand new to goodreads. I joined it because my publisher encouraged me too. My book is "The Storeroom of the Heart" and although it is a book for everyone it is written by a man and largely has masculine illustrations and perspectives.

So in order to try and spark discussion of men, about men's issues - What temptations hit you the hardest? I would prefer that you be specific so rather than saying 'women' say 'women who flirt' or 'pornography' or whatever.

Due to the fact I had given myself over to pornography for years. I struggle with looking at women with respect, so I am reading a book called . I believe the LORD is greatly helping me in this area as I surrender to HIM. Thank you LORD!!!

Worldly Success over Biblical Significance.

I have two teens and a wife in Grad School. I was recently offered a ministry position but had to turn it down due to the salary (almost 4 times less than what I make) I want to serve the Lord but I also have financial and family responsibilities. I struggle with this often, keeping a successful career (that I don't necessarily like) but need the money versus working in full time ministry and trusting God.
