Nataliya, this looks like my wishlist. I can't wait to turn my list into reviews. And to read yours, of course.
Here's my 2C worth for Perdido Street Station.I was pretty underwhelmed byThe City and the City. But I don't feel I can muster sufficient eloquence for a credible review. Someday, when Mamma Nature blesses me with more wisdom..

Nataliya's reviews are awesome, and very highly recommended for all members.
Catie's reviews are also awesome, and I hope we will see a list of those here as well. :)

Ah, so you've read most of them, Sologdin. I've just had a look at your City & The City review, and found myself immediately regretting that you had not taken part in our group discussion of the book, which would most certainly have been enriched by your presence.I sincerely hope you'll consider popping in to one of our upcoming discussions. If not the Le Guin (end April to mid-May) or Railsea,(June 15) perhaps then The Scar, which would be taking place around July?
hey, thanks, trav. i need to catch up on the two most recent, and to revisit PSS and the scar. your reread project on the latter is promising. fount me in on leguin.
Am glad to hear that Sologdin! From what I've seen of your reviews, your input will be valuable. :)Btw! You appear to have an interest in linguistics and philosophy of language, in which case I predict that you may enjoy Embassytown if you haven't read it yet.
In the order that I read them:The Scar 2* : http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
The City & The City 4* : http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Embassytown 5* : http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
I guess that means the next one I read ought to be at least 6*!

Good advice.

Et tu, Cecily... You and Derek break my heart with this dislike of 'The Scar'...
Nataliya wrote: "Et tu, Cecily... You and Derek break my heart with this dislike of 'The Scar'..."Cecily does do good review though.

She sure does!
I do prefer the five star reviews with piccies though. If only I could work out how to get two pics on the same line.
