"Why did I have to come, I could have just stayed where I was." Sarah muttered to her self and then she shrugged that off and continued to walk to the front doors of the office.

Sarah paused. She turned around and quickly walked to the girl on the floor. "You need help?" Sarah said holding out her hand.

Cassidy was, as usual, alone. She sat outside the school studying for an upcoming test. Any passers-by who disrupted her studying received a death stare.

"What makes it bad other than people teasing you?" Sarah took a deep breath, then continued." If you want, I could be your friend."

Genevieve stopped on the corner of the road by the school, looking up. She had been in the US for all of a week, never set a foot inside the school. She sighed, shifted her bag on her shoulder and ran a hand through her hair, before walking towards the building.
Raven hurried towards the school. She bumped into people on her way but barely noticed. She finally got to the school and stopped.
She looked up, distracted, as a girl bumped into her. Evie apologised and her eyes darted around her, trying to figure out where she should go.
Raven looked back after she bumped into a random girl "Sorry" Raven muttered as she fixed her died black hair.
"Don't worry about it," Evie said, her British accent now much more obvious around the local people. She picked up the timetable she had dropped and smiled at the girl, who was fixing her hair.
"Genevieve, but Vee or Evie's fine," she said.
Evie smiled gratefully. "Please. I have no idea what the hell I'm meant to be doing." She had a distracted and slightly manic expression in her eye, more apparent due her nerves at starting somewhere new.
Evie followed. "Really? Grown up here then, I take it." She watched everything around her curiously. "I've only been living here a week. And it's pretty different from back home."

"That's good. Shouldn't be too hard to fit in and not get noticed, I hope," Evie said.

Emily wrote: ""That's good. Shouldn't be too hard to fit in and not get noticed, I hope," Evie said.""Stay with my and no one will ever notice you" Raven said a bit of angry in her voice.
Evie noted the slight bitterness, or maybe anger, in Raven's voice. "In that case, if you don't mind being stalked for a while, I will," she said, trying to bring a bit of lightness back into the conversation.
Evie smiled her thanks and freed the hair that had got caught under the collar of her bag. "So what's it like here, anyway? Anyone I should avoid completely?"
Evie laughed. "Better than home then. The last thing people ever did there was ignore you."
Cassidy stood up and slammed her book closed. Very loudly I might add. She glared t all the noisy people then walked into town.
Evie looked around, slightly daunted by all the people. It was bigger than home too. She rolled her sleeves up and fiddled with her bracelets as she walked.
She decided it was just a bit too much. She tapped Raven on the arm, thanked her for her help and said she'd see her later. Evie turned around and headed back outside, heading for the street.
