The Hunger Games RP discussion

The Training Center is supplied by the Capitol to give the tributes a chance to learn how to survive and use weapons in the Hunger Games. The tributes are given five days to use this facility.

Cosette walked into the training center, her eyes shifting from side to side. She realised she was the first one there. She walked around looking at all the stations, trying to decide which one to go to. She noticed that there was a few stations that really where out of the ordinary.

"Skating, fishing, and fishing spears?" She whispered to herself, confused

She immedeatley clued in. The arena would most likley have something to do with winter. Maybe the entire ground will be ice. The thought made her heart race. She had never touched skates in her life. She knew that going to the skating station would benifit her the most. She walked back over to the skating station. A trainer had to teach her how to tie the skates properly. She shuffled onto the ice, falling flat on her butt the second her skate touched down. She stood back up carefully and started to shuffle across the ice. She knew that if she wanted to get this right, she would need alot more practice.

Vanessa and Seth walked into the training center and looked around.
"What should we do first?" Seth asked her.
Vansessa looked at him, a sarcastic look in her eyes, before saying,"Dress up and ride pretty ponies."
Seth chuckled at her sarcasim, "Rock climbing it is then."
They both then walked over there and started training.

Leah strolled into the Gym, gazing around at the stations and completely ignoring the other Tributes. She decided not to dwell on the stations she already excels in, but to learn new ways of fighting and survival. So she began narrowing down the options. Coming from Four, she is already skilled in ice skating, fishing, and with tridents. Being good with tridents, she wouldn't have to learn too much about throwing spears, although it's still an option. And having the good aim, Leah second specialty weapon is throwing knives/daggers, and the good aim can be passed onto bow and arrows. She can also climb very well, a very rare ability in District 4. She isn't very strong, so heavy lifting is off the list, as wells as maces, pikes, the big axes and clubs, and Great and Long swords. Leah can decently wield a Short sword. After watching her mother cook before she died, Leah can also cook pretty well, well enough that she wouldn't require learning more about it. So that left fire building, wood cutting, plant identification, and shelter building. She could also go to the obstacle course, but she'd attend that station later on. So, after a few moments of pondering, Leah headed after the Plant Identification station.

The first thing Daniel did once he entered the gym, was sit on a bench and enjoy the view, sizing up his fellow Tributes and finding out their skills and whatnot.

Melody looked around at the training center. She looked at all the options for training. She decided to wait and watch the other tributes.

Vanessa stopped when she reached the top, Seth already up there. They both looked around. They could see many Tributs training and other Tributes just watching the others.
"Who do you think we should watch out for?" Seth asked her.
"...Everyone." was all she said in reply before she started down.

Ceale shuffled around until he was at the ice-skating station. He looked around secretively, a bit wary of all the others.

Ceale saw her raised eyebrow. He knew she had seen him. He raised a hand in a short wave before gliding off across the ice. He slipped a bit but didn't fall as he rounded circles.

Leon entered the training center and looked around. he sighed and went to the obsticale course.

Kvinna walked into the gym with a foreboding look on her face, one that dared someone to approach her. She sighed inwardly. Time to observe. She thought dryly. Ice Skating was a big must-do, as well as swords. But there was someone already at the sating rink, and that threw Kvinna off. So she began analizing her oponents. Cosette was clumsy on skates. Garret was smoking and probably analizing as well, unsocial. Leon looked uninterested. Ceale was friendly, big no-no to her. Leah seemed very intent on Plant Identifaction, and she seemed legit. Jeminine seemed stressed as some tributes flirted with her, an anti-social. Vanessa and Seth were obviously allies. She frowned. She didn't like it. She didn't like anything. She sighed. She would have to wait her turn and continue analizing. Suddenly she decided to sit down, and Garret seemed like the perfect company. Silent. She made her way over to him and sat down on the near oposite side of Garret. She looked in interest at the cigarette. She had never seen one before.


Romeo walked into the training center smoothly. He had a nice smile on his pretty face as he wandered around the arena. Eventually he found himself at Ice Skating, and he slipped on his size of figure skates, determined to excell at it before the beginning of the games. He stood up and waddled over to the rink. He had succeeded in tieing his skates. He stepped onto the rink, stumbled, flailed a bit, then stroked forwards slowly. He found it wasn't much different thenrunning in slow motion. He noticed the other tribute on the ice, Cosette, and he waved.

Kvinna blinked. She looked away stonily, then snaked out her hand, snatching the pack and drawingout cigarette in fascination. she put the pack down, frowning. She didn't understand. She looked at the befuddled Garret for an explanation. She put the cigarette I her mouth and then quickly took it out, feeling like an idiot. She pursed her lips slightly. She hated being embarrassed.


Romeo was soon speeding around on the ice. He had skated before in district four in the winter when they were ice fishing. He had just not done it in a long time, and he had just realized he could skate so well. He decided skating was no problem. Time to socialize. He waddled to a bench and took off his skates quickly, then slipped on his regular clothes. He glanced around. He noticed Jemina looked at him and he strode over to her confidently, sitting down next to her, his green good blue eyes shimmering. "Hey, I'm Romeo, district four." He said enthusiastically, sticking out his hand

Kvinna looked at Garret with hue eyes as he got close to her. She regained her calmness as he went back to normal. She hesitantly took a breath, and then she started coughing horribly. It made her lungs hurt. She was tempted to throw her cigarette in his face, but she kept it in her fingers. "Why in the world would you smoke this?!" She asked, angry. These were the first words she had spoken to Garret.

Romeo looked hurt as he drew his hand away. "And who might you be?" He inquired, making no fry to flirt in be friendly. His attention did shift to her chest momentarily but then he shook his head to clear it.

Kvinna released a rare blush. She brought the stick back to her lips and took a drag, only coughing slightly this time. These Werner that bad. She signed, looking away. Time for socialization. She looked back at Garret without a smile. "I'm Kvinna, district 7." She muttered, dragging again as she looked at garret. The social part of her mind, which was Rey small, remarked that garret was not bad looking.

Romeo smiled genuinely, chuckling at her frostiness. "Don't worry I don't bite." He insisted, biting his lip absent mindedly. He smirked at her awkward shift

Romeo grinned. He had succeeded in making conversation with this seemingly shy woman. He chuckled at her supposed insult. "So what district are you from, my dear Jemina?" He inquired, smirking as he verged on flirting.

Kvinna looked at him with interest. She had never truly socialized with anyone, and she had never known people could be this intriguing. "I am Swedish, actually!" She said, the corners of her lips curling. The small smile quickly disappeared. She cleared her throat and took another drag. She shivered, cold for no reason.

Romeo sighed slightly. He was getting no where fast with this one. He decided just to push his luck and he outright told her, "you're beautiful." He looked at her without lust or love, just the truth.

Kvinna smiled again at that. Garret obviously had en effect on her. She slipped herself closer to him secretively, blowing outwards and making a sloppy ring. "You shouldn't be. We aren't that amazing." She murmured, brushing her blonde hair behind her ear as she looked at the ground.

Kvinna looked at him dryly. "My name means Woman or Girl." She muttered. Her hand was suddenly on Garret's muscular arm as she brushed her fingers over the corded muscle, losing herself again as she zoned out on the world.

Romeo smiled widely at that but frown as she scorched away on the bench. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." He explained. "I'm just overly social." He tapped his fingers on the bench idly.

Romeo smirked. "I know the feeling." He murmured, his gorgeous body shifting its weight on the bench as he thought of the past, of his mother. He twiddled with his district token.

Kvinna looked up at him with wide eyes. The shiver he had just had ran through her body. She looked away after a moment, withdrawing her hand and placing it close but not touching to Garret's hand. "Sorry. You're the first man that has ever been friendly to me." She murmured, looking down at her petite form with a luscious tail and chest.

((I won't be very active for the next couple days.))

((Sorry I haven't been active :S I'm in Disneyland right now and I have limited wifi connection))

Cosette quickly got used to the feeling of being on the ice. She was soon Skating quite fast, and was very proud of herself for it. She noticed the other tributes who were on the ice were now talking. She looked over at them as secretly as she could, paranoid they were plotting her death or something.

((Totally understand. I'ma be ghosting for the next couple days.))

Leah sighed. This was getting boring. By the time she left the station, she'd learned 2 different herbal plants, 6 edible plants, and a simple way to close a wound a small cloth - Something that would be found in a pack or at the Cornucopia. She might come back to this station again, but for now, Leah headed towards the Fire Building station, hoping for a quick way to start a fire and to easily put it out without leaving obvious tracks.

((Does anybody want to talk to Leah?))

Vanessa and Seth walked over to the archery station and started training, they kept a wary eye of all the Tributes.

Romeo frowned slightly. This really wasn't going anywhere. Maybe she would be more comfortable training. "So Jemina, would you like to train?" He asked as if it was no matter

Kvinna stiffened at the word sexy. She had never been good at flirting, or at least she thought so. "Well lets just say I was considered dangerous in seven." She said, looking at him with a kind expression although she would not smile. She held the truth from him because she dish trust him yet. She did shift closer robin though, so their shoulders were almost touching.

Damien didn't want to walk into the training center. He stood outside the door for about two minutes, zoning-out like he did so often. Finally he realized wat he was doing and forced himself to go inside. As soon as he saw all the other tributes, he froze, staring.

Kvinna frowned slightly, motioning for another cig. "It's true. I am very dangerous. We should never have had this conversation, in fact. Now it will just make it harder for me to kill you." She said snarkily, looking away.

Romeo smiled. "Alright, you choose where to go."

((Make her talk to somebody, I can't move right now))

Romeo shrugged. "Alright then, ice skating it is." He stuck out a hand to help her get up, a charming smile gracing his face.

Kvinna lite her cig with some difficulty until she got it right. She handed the lighter back and inhaler. "Alright then. Would you like to train together, Garret?" She asked calmly, although inside she was a nervous wreck. Ah had neve been this friendly to anyone for a long time.

Romeo grinned an loped to the station, showing her how to tie her skates.

Kvinna stood up and brushed herself off. "Where too?"

Melody stood and walked over to the camoflauge station and set to work. The instructor there looked relieved that they had at least one person come over.

Kvinna was about to suggest swords, one of her weaknesses, when he called her love. She stumbled and had to catch herself on the wall, where she looked at the ground, her jaw slighty open but still locked. She glared at the ground, enraged. She was not okay with nicknames, especially ones that intimate. She shifted her glare at Garret suddenly. Her emerald green, sapphire freckles seemed to crackle as a animalistic growl escaped her lips.

Romeo grinned, then stepped onto the ice, starting slowly until he was zooming around. He pulled up to a stop infront of Jemina, wobbled a bit, then slipped around and fell on his stomach, weezing as the air was knocked out of him.

Romeo grimace-smiled as he stood up, bending over. "I guess not!" He agreed, then he started laughing as he heard her laughing. It always happened. Peoples laughs made him laugh.

Kvinnas eyes turned to slits. "No. You're not perverted. I'm just not okay with what you just called me. I'm not that sort of girl." She explained slowly, trying to contain herself. She snorted and rolled her eyes as she contradicted herself. "Now come one love, I want to kill you with a sword." She realized that was the cosest thing to a laugh that she had had in a long time.

Romeo stood up straight, smiling hugely at Jemina. "Thanks. I guess I'll have to practice more. Here, take my hand. You can be my anchor." He enthoused, sticking out his hand.

Kvinna sighed. "Please forgive me. I am not accustomed to humans. Give me an animal and you will be amazed." She murmured, thinking back to her wolf pack in the forest. She had fed them, they had kept her company. She was most herself around animals. She was in a trance and soon zoned out.

Kvinna chuckled, then realized what she had just done. She lifted her hand for a high five as she said, "You just made me laugh." She had a stony expression on her face, but she was excited.

Damien forced himself to walk into the room and pick a station. Feeling overwhelmed, he went to knives immediately. I threw over and over again, one after the other, until the center of the target was too full to throw any more. Then he retrieved them and started over.

Romeo put his hand over his heart, as if he were aghast. "How could you do such a thing?" His face displayed pure agony, although it was dashed with a smile. He shoved her gently.

Kvinna raised a single eyebrow as he bumped her hand. She lowered her hand and sighed as they reached swords. "Don't be too hard on me, I've never done this." She explained blatently.

Romeo leered at Jemina heatily. "You better run..." He said loud enough for only her to hear. He started circling slowly until he darted inwards and was headed straight for her.

Kvinna pursed her lips doubtfully. She looked around nervously. "I don't know what to do." She whispered, her hands by her side as she stood there, usless. She was never bred to bear a sword, but she knew she must. Her face grew more and more anxious as she tried to decide which blade to use.

Romeo chuckled and whipped around, snatching Jemina in his arms as he wobbled, but for once he didn't fall. He grinned down at Jemina, who was less the five inches from Romeo.

Kvinna swallowed her anxiety and nodded, taking the blade and experimenting with the new extension to her arm. She practiced on a dummy for a bi then returned to Garret, crouching with her blade held in a brace infront of her.

Romeo chuckled as he was pushed away. "Wanna have a race?" He said as if nothing had happened.

Kvinna looked at him blankly at his smile. She waited for him to attack, shaking slightly.

Ceale was in his own little lone corner in the ice skating station. He was skating in little circles, hands in his pockets. He was alone. And he was okay with that. He fell once, but stood up with no more than a wince, dusting off his somewhat lightly-bruised knees.

Romeo looked at Ceale and tried to catch his eye, waving with a smile on his lips.

Ceale noticed with a surprised half-jump. He landed easily and flashed a pretty smile and gave his own little wave.

Romeo glanced at Jemina and motioned for her to follow him. He skated slowly to Ceale and stuck out his hand. "Romeo, district 4." He murmured brightly.

Ceale shook the boy's hand with a hesitant but bright smile with immaculate teeth. "Ceale. District three." he said proudly, but without arrogance. He wondered if he should or shouldn't have shared that information. His district was known for doling out the smart but weak ones that survived for a while until the real violence began. Well, he was anything but weak. He didn't want to seem weak just because his district contributed mainly little tinkery geekos whose muscles resembled straw. He mentally shook himself ot of those thoughts. They were useless.

KVinna pursed her lips, paused, then lept up and cumsily but very strongly swung her sword at Garrets neck, hoping her get parry before she beheaded him.

Romeo glanced back at Jemina and gave her a warm smile, trying to calm her down. He turned around and fixed his attention on Ceale, who seemed to be lost in thought. He didn't mind the fact that he was a higher district then him, as he wasn't a jealous person. He coughed awkwardly. "So... what are you up to?"

Ceale looked startled that Romeo was still talking to him. "Erm, I don't know. I guess I'm still sort of adjusting to the Capitol. Its strange here." he gave a slightly-embarrassed smile. He rocked back and forth on his sharp shoes, balancing on the ice.

Romeo didn't mind that Ceale was a higher district then he. He wasn't that sort of person. "I completely agree. Everyone is very strange... Anyway, we'll see you around?" He said in a way of good-bye. He skated backwards so he was standing next to Jemina.

Kvinna ignored Garret and as he talked she swung around, aiming for his ankles. She was more careful, so that she could pull up if neccesary.

((Four is a more powerful district than 3...))
Ceale smiled and muttered an audible goodbye, rephrasing his words to a sentance. He resumed skating in circles. He considered going to another station, skating was getting pretty easy.
