Monzo is an enormously talented Catalan writer. For years the only book of his translated into English was O'Clock, a slim collection of stories. But on the basis of that collection, which a friend gave me years ago, I fell in love with him: his zany humor and inventiveness. Suddenly, perhaps thanks in part to Words Without Borders, an online journal, there are now several books by Monzo translated into English. I just bought one and there are at least two more. Will post a full list next.
