Wonderful, Leslie, Melissa (ladybug), & Hayley!!! Added your hyperlinks. Welcome to the challenge. ☺
I'm in. I'd like to do the spell it out version and wondered if I'd be able to use one of my favourite films 'Black Hawk Down' as technically a Black Hawk is type of transportation but wasn't sure if it would count?
I'm gonna serve my inner child with this one:
T - Tangle of need by Nalini Singh
H - High Stakes by Erin McCarthy
E - Eyes of silver, eyes of gold by Ellen O'ConnellP - Providence by Jamie McGuire
O - Obsidian by Jennifer L. ArmentroutL - The Last letter from your lover by Jojo Moyes

So the level is Train. 5/15

Quick question: You say Use book or series titles. Is that only the first word of a book/series title (other than A, An and The)? Or can we use any word in the title?
Barb, you may use the ignore the Definite or Indefinite Articles, if you like. Up to you. And, yes, if you only want to use part of a movie title, I don't see why not. Just let us know which one. ☺
I guess my question wasn't properly worded :) If I'm reading Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore, can I use it only for M, or could I use it for P, H or B instead?
Yes, better safe than sorry. I think I still need to see that movie, Money Train. ??? Getting old; can't remember. LOL!
I'm in for the Train level and I'm going with the spell it out movie title option. Duration: November 1, 2012 – December 31, 2012

Lisa Kay wrote: "Gotcha, Sonia!"15 books in two months isn't that much, but taking in consideration that I barely read 5 books between the months May and October, I can't make any promises.
But, if I finish in time, I'll probably try to spell-it-out Nimbus 2000 using books that have the words "Zero" and "Two" in the title for the 2000 part :o)
I started this group at the beginning of the year but I had a to study for my boards so didn't get as much reading in as I wanted to but passed my boards and now I'm back. I thought this would be a good challenge to get me going again. I want to google some movies first before I commit to one. Will be back with my choice.

It is that time of year again, when people start traveling for the holidays. In honor of that, let’s look for those things that transport us to our destinations.
Rules:
• Read books with covers depicting these three main items (planes, trains, & automobiles). You can
also use other modes: motorcycles, carriages, wagons, etc. Check out listopia for
help:• Read a book where something critical/significant happens in one of these modes of transportation.
• Road trip! Read a book that has one. Or read a book with a road on the cover. Check out listopia
for help:Levels:Spell-It-Out Option: You can spell any mode of transportation or use a movie title that includes a mode of transportation!
Use book or series titles, or authors’ first or last names to spell your word(s). You can ignore the first indefinites (“a” “an”) or the first definite (“the”) articles.
Special Note: I used all transportation theme books, or some mode depicted on the cover or title, in the example; however, you don’t have to do this.
