Charlotte, are re-reads ok? I've already read everything Agatha Christie (well, except her romance novels but they don't count here anyway) for example but I'm in the process of re-reading her stuff (for the n-th time)...
Yes re-reads are fine. I'm embarressed to say that I've only read one Agatha Christie, but it was fantastic - And Then There Were None.
Oh, And Then There Were None is really good! Nice choice :P (Although I personally prefer her novels featuring Hercule Poirot - you should try "Alibi" or "Evil under the Sun") Now you'll have a chance to catch up (and maybe get hooked on her books) :PAnd about the re-reads - great. I could do all the categories then! :)
I'm in :) and go with Lifer Elementary My Dear Watson -

Crime in a Cold Climate -
I'm confused about the swapping out or creating our own bonus category. Do we not have to do all the categories? Can I create something different? Thanks! Looks like an interesting challenge.
Either - if you want to do all the existing catergories and create some bonus ones of your own then you can.But if there are some catergories you don't want to do (or don't have the books to do them) and want to replace them with something else you can.
Does that make sense?
As long as you cover 8 different flavours!

Hi Jennifer,
In answer to your questions - Yes and Yes.
There's no restriction on book length.
I'm a believer in using a book for as many different challenges as it will fit in.
I hope you enjoy it.
I am in and reserving my spot for my list. I will choose my books later, but I am a lifer! This is the genre I read the most in and I own almost all of the Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes books so those two categories will be easy. This year I have also discovered an obsession for scandinavian mysteries.
Ex-con, because I'm attempting the other yearly challenge as well, so will already have 100 books to get through! I'll fill in my books later, when I've decided on them!Elementary My Dear Watson -
