A roleplay is where you create a character and kind of act them out in a story that a bunch of people write. It's one of the funnest things ever. Welcome to Goodreads, by the way! I'm sure you'll love it, we have a great group of people on here.
1st person sounds like this:
"I walk across the floorboards, careful not to make a sound. I don't want to wake Nancy. I crept down the stairs, my palms sweaty as my hand gripped the banister. I go carefully over to the couch and try as quietly as I can to get on it without being too loud. I look behind the couch, and there is the dragon egg."
