So, what should we read in December?

Well, I'm hoping to get my paws on Predictably Irrational: The Hidden Forces That Shape Our Decisions by Dan Airely. If anyone else wants to read with me, feel free.

Oh God the first time I read Divergent I felt like puking. The second time I made it about... oh who am I kidding? I made it to the copywrite page.

well it wasn't very entertaining, clear or enjoyable. IN ANY WAY. Period.

I loved it too. It was very exciting and stuff.

Across the Universe on the other hand.....well I enjoy hate-ranting about it, but it wasn't THAT bad.

I didn't even make it half way through that book.

I think I will try it but the reviews are saying that this book mostly sucks.

Well I read reviews to see if I should waste my time with a book or just let it go. And the reviews say it is a boring book.

Random Comment that somewhat relates to reading books in December:I am currently rereading the Percy Jackson series and the Heroes of Olympus series.

I love those! I am waiting for my inter-library loan of The Mark of Athena!

Do you know what kind of book you are looking for? YA, classic, etc. I could probably suggest a good book if I have a general idea of what you guys want to read.

Fantasy is what we usually read.

Hmmmm....., I haven't been reading a lot of fantasy lately but I've read some in the past. Eragon, Key of Rondo, Magyk, Redwall, Lord of the Rings, is Pendragon fantasy, Harry Potter although I think lots of people have read that. I know a lot of sci-fi books because I read those a lot. Anyone know what fey are?

One more, I am current reading a series called The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel. The first book is The Alchemist or Alchemyst not sure which spelling but it's a good series.

OMG!!!!! I LOVE THOSE BOOKS! I HAVE READ EVERY SINGLE ONE!!! The last one kinda sucked though. It fell...flat.

Yeah, it was okay. It took me a year to read it because it was going pretty slow but the end of the book is good. The books continuing into the series get a lot better though.

Yeah but I dislike when a pretty decent series ends horribly. It's a letdown.

I haven't read the last book yet. I'm waiting to get it from the library.

What about The Roar? It's an awesome book. Almost 500 pages read in several hours in 5 grade. It was just that good. Mika lives in future London, behind The Wall, safe from The Animal Plague.
