"A gunsaku is a set of haiku linked by a common subject, setting, theme and/or mood. Each haiku in a gunsaku is an independent poem, to be appreciated in its own right, and yet it is enriched by (and lends enrichment to) other haiku in the set. A gunsaku, then, is simultaneously a gathering of several haiku and a single poem."
A renga is written by more than one author and formed by two ku ( 5-7-5 + 7-7).
There are no rules to haiku in actual fact, and therefore results can be mixed.
