Ok so this is a a place for you ask about what you should do for a character or maybe just discuss random stuf. Like should you make them do this or think this... so on and so forth!

So what's everyone's opinion on making one of my main characters fall in love? I'm not sure if that would mean making her out of character, as it's not really in her to in love. But who knows, everyone falls in love sooner or later, right ? xD So what's you guys opinion about this?

I think if you are going to do a sequel then yes. But maybe you could have that not until the second that it gets serious. Or maybe you could have that she is totaly against it at first (because you said she's not one for love) But then come around later. I think every book need a tiny bit of romance, because many readers want some or a better type of love in there life and books with a bit of love in it help them. So yes I think it is a good Idea. I am making my character fall in love, but not like BANG all the sudden, it's going to be slow and real. I did this because I think that love shouldn't be rushed and it creates a more realistic plot for my fantasy story which can make the story more believable.

Honestly romance is pretty much a part of life, right? So naturally there's going to be some in every story you write, intentional or not.
I'm not the type who likes "hardcore" romance. I believe it's just written porn, but like every girl, I do like a "happy ending fairytale" sort of romance in books. Not to heavy where I'm gagging on the kissing and all that other stuff, but enough that it's just like life. ;)

eww hard core romance books are gross!oh and I CANNOT write about french kissing it makes my gag. Even though i love passionate kisses but like in the cute and beautiful way not the sexy type.

Amen sister!!!! Xp I hateHATE!!! French kisses! XD honestly, what I have found, is write more about the feelings/emotions than the actual act lol....makes it a little more passionate in my opinion.

I'd say Phoenix or Ezra. :) I can't think of any other names sorry. :P

haha hmmm what about faber? or Fallon,Fynn? hmmm if you had to choose between Phoenix or Ezra which would you choose?

Ok another question. what do you like better, a dying world or one where the wild (forests and animals) is over running civilization?

Depends on the story lol. I am a huge fan of dystopian so either one I'd pick haha

I think I might do both.. maybe but I think I might be leaning towards over ground forest.

I know it's been 7 months since the last post here but I need opinions on two of my characters. See a bit of background that is barely hanging on to stay in the book is they were lovers once before but something happened after the guy, (xaxxus) left for war in another empire and the girl ( lella) ended up being chosen by the previous empress to be the successor. So now where everything sits in the present is xaxxus and lella are two different leaders of their own empires and for some reason I haven't found they hate each other to the point they want one another to suffer. (No one knows about their relation before) at the end is one final battle and xaxxus ends up dying and lella retires by choosing a new successor but I don't know whether she should feel love for him still or if she should be the one to do away with him. I hope my explanation makes some sense, but I don't know what should happen between the two of them. (Mind you, they aren't the main characters, but they both play antagonists at some point in the series.)
