1) Columbine is a book on the occurrences of what happened leading up to the event of the shooting and after the shooting. The book is separated into different stories of the shooters and the survivors explaining what happened on both sides. The story tells about the account of Eric Harris who was the leader and mastermind of the plan to do the shooting who to me seemed to be a sort of psychopath. And the suicidal kid Dylan Klebold who was obsessed with a girl and wrote about constantly. And lastly it tells about the recovery of the survivors after the shooting and their accounts of what happened. 2) I give this book 3 stars because I think there could have been more detail into what the police could have done differently to solve this. 3) “Eric dreamed big but settled for reality” (Cullen) This quote shows how our dreams are harder to achieve than we would like so instead we settle for the harsh world of reality. 4) What we’ve been learning about in class is bad stuff that happen to good people, and that’s exactly what happens in this book. Bullying can lead to serious situations in this case a shooting and also the deaths of good people. 5) I would recommend this book to whoever would want to learn more about what happened at columbine. Also I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading books with multiple viewpoints but I would not recommend this book to people who don’t enjoy reading memoirs.
