this is the high school:

Leila: (walks into the high school and heads for locker)

Makenzie: (enters high school, pulls out schedule, and heads for lockers while humming a nearly inaudible tune under her breath)

Leila: (heads to her homeroom with Mr. Gennars)

Makenzie: (Opens locker, gets books, and heads to homeroom also with Mr. Gennars)

Leila: (sits down and spots Makenzie) Hey, Makenzie, girl? how ya'll been?

Makenzie: (smiles and waves) Hey Leila! Long time no see. I'm doing good, how about you?"

Leila: Not to bad. Got a new horse, named her Milky.

Makenzie: Cool *smiles*

Leila: ya.
