Paranormal Fantasy RP discussion

Astra entered the cafe, relieved that the only person there was a boy working behind the counter. She wrinkled her nose at the smell of the tarts and little cakes that were cleverly arranged to look good, even though to her it tasted like sand. She walked to the nearest table, taking out a chair, and opened her laptop.

Snow inched in, feeling insecure. The boy didn't even look up as she entered, but it wasn't a huge surprise. He probably didn't even notice her pulling up a chair and sitting down. She blended with the black and yellow. The only way you could tell she was there was the book that opened onto the table. Other than that, it just seemed as if someone invisible was sitting there, reading.

Astra looked up, her eyes narrowing. Her vampire hearing and sight was kicking in. She scanned the area, and noticed a girl, cleverly blended in the background. Clever human. Astra mused. But a vampire can see through disguse. Astra simply went back to typing.

Snow stiffened, feeling the gaze of the girl nearest to her. She glanced at her, and then immediately grabbed her bag, pulling out her phone. She typed in a number, and then called. "Hello? Hey Red. Yeah, I have a question on the report we're supposed to do. Meet me at the cafe in five? 'kay bye."

Cassy walked in and ordered an ice tea before she went to sit down, got a book out and started reading.Ignoring her surroundings and the people being shy.

Cassy put her book away and walked out with her lemon ice tea.

Astra rolled her eyes at the girl who picked up the phone, and examined the girl who just walked in. When she left, Astra sighed, and went back to her laptop.

Sera walks into the cafe and grins swinging her hand which was interlocked with Giovanni's. She looks over at Lex and smirks slightly. "So I'm starving and thirsty do you want anything Lex?" She asks.

Lex shook her head softly, looking around the cafe. She had thought Sera would remember she scarcely ate when they were in school together. She merely drank constantly

Sera nods before flicking her gaze at Giovanni and then shrugging. Walking into line she frowns looking back as a bunch of girls start giggling behind them. Sera flicks her gaze at Giovanni and a small smile plays along his lips. "Jealous love?" He asks winking at the girls.

Lex had at down at a table and noticed that the girls were trying to flirt with him. Accidentally she made it so their faces were covered in warts and other ugly things. She didn't try to change them back as they ran crying from the restersunt

Giovanni chuckles slightly before turning back to the line. Now at the front Sera proceeded to order herself a hot chocolate, croissant, and a large cookie. Giovanni shakes his head in disapproval and orders a large salad. They pay and then meet Lex over. Sliding into a bench, Sera leans againt the window and Giovanni slides in next to her.

Lex's attention is elsewhere, she is lost in her own little world. Usually when she zones out it is close to impossible to speak to her with out having to slap her awake

Giovanni looks at Lex curiously for a moment before smirking slightly and then looks up as their food it being brought to them. Sera nods a thanks and Giovanni smiles slightly to the waitress. Grabbing her hot chocolate Sera takes a sip and then flicks her gaze towards Lex. "Hey Lex," She starts and goes back to eating. "What do you do now? Like..for a job?" She asks casually.

Lex didnt hear her as she continued to think. Once again she absently attacked the waitress with her magic, causing her to spill food all over herself. She had no clue why she was doing it.

Sera rolls her eyes and underneath the table kicks Lex in the shin, hard. She smiles sweetly at Giovanni and flicks her gaze over at the waitress.

"Ow!" Lex screamed and grabbed her shin, glaring at Sera "What was that for?" She demanded, rubbing her sore shin. She knew there'd be bruise there later

Sera smiles slightly and shrugs, "I don't know...maybe because you just gave our waitress a giant face blemish?" she asks through her teeth so no one else could hear them. "I thought you had control of your powers?" She asks curiously. Giovanni watches them and goes back to eating his salad. he grabs a take home dish and sticks half of it into the dish before pushing it over to Sera. She looks down and takes it before tearing the croissant in half and handing half of it to him.

"That was on purpose" Lex mouthed back to her. She stole a quick gaze toward Giovonni then turned back to Sera "what were you saying?" She asked out loud

Sera's grin widen and she looks at Giovanni. He gazes back at her for a second before smiling slightly and then goes back to eating his salad. Sera does the same a smile on her face and she looking knowingly at Lex. "I was asking about what you do...since we're out of high school you do need a job," She points out.

"Me?Work? Have you lost your mind?" Lex laughed "Jasmine Alexandria doesn't work" she said, saying her full first and middle name for emphasis. When she caught the look Sera gave her she merely shoot her head.

Sera waves her off and shrugged. "Well I have been busy so shame on you." She chastises before finishing the half salad Giovanni got her. She looks at Giovanni and he smirks slightly before sliding out of the booth.

"Yes I feel terrible," Lex said sarcastically, rolling her eyes. She looked over to Giovanni, "Are you leaving?" She asked with sad eyes in a soft voice.

Giovanni blinks and raises an eyebrow. "Sera has to get out of the booth. I was kind of in the way." He says before sliding back in. "Glad to know someone cares." He says looking pointedly at Sera. She scoffs slightly and smiles, "Aw you know I love you G," She says lightly before kissing his head and patting it affectionately.

Lex softly smiled, trying not to get jealous. She rolled her eyes at Sera "cute" she mumbled, giving Sera a fake 'knowing' look.

Sera winks at Lex before turning and throwing her trash away. Looking up she blinks in surprise as a guy and some of his friends come up to her. They all flash her smiles and she smiles slightly in return.

Giovanni looks at Lex for a moment contemplating her liking him or not before shaking it off. "So Lex how do you know Sera?" he asks her casually trying to make conversation. He wasn't good at it most of the time unless it was with Sera or someone he knew.

"We went to school together. We were both in dance class and be both tried out for cheerleading. I say tried out cuz we didn't make it. She stank and all I did was throw food at the other girls until the teachers made me leave" she smiled as she reminisced

Giovanni smiles slightly and shrugs, "Well not a big deal. If all you where going to do was throw food then I don't blame the coach for you not getting in." He says simply and then flicks his gaze back at Sera and the guys. Tensing slightly he turns his head every so slightly watching them out of the corner of his eye.

Sera nods and then tries to move around them. She bites her lip, knowing Giovanni was watching and looks away. "Excuse me sir," she says and tries again to walk around them. They block her way and one of the guys brush against her lightly.

"I was just there to laugh at them, not try out." Lex insisted "I don't do the whole thing where you move around and do physical stuff" she explain

Giovanni nods slightly and starts picking at the croissant Sera had given him. Reaching over he grabs the hot chocolate trying to keep calm even though he could feel himself losing control of the wolf, flicking his gaze over at Sera and the guys he sees them touch her and abruptly stands up. A couple people around him look over and then go back to eating.

Sera looks up as Giovanni stands up, she can tell he's tense and winces slightly. "Guys you really need to go," she says mostly for their part. "My friend won't like you trying anything on me," She warns.

Lex says nothing when he stands, only stared at her hands. Sera alway did get all the attention and she just couldn't stand it. She always felt like a third wheel around Sera since guys always came up to her. She was the 'ugly friend' she had heard people whisper the phrase although she was not ugly, merely not well liked by anyone

((I haven't decided yet..like I said. Them being wolves they are super protective and close and stuff.))

Sera shoves past the guys and one of them grabs her wrist. "hey, where are you going gorgeous?" He asks looking her up and down. Giovanni trembles from the power it takes to control his wolf. Walking over to the guys he gently grabs Sera's arm before pulling her firmly away from the guys.

The guys look up about to protest before looking at Giovanni with widened eyes. They pale slightly and look away. "hey man, no harm no foul right?" One of them says trying for casual but coming up short, way short. Giovanni gives them a sneer before shoving the first guy and walking away pulling Sera along with him.

Lex sat in in the booth all alone, contemplating why guys didn't like her. Yes, she was a bit on the competitive side and always set out to beat them-which she always did-and the didn't like it.

Giovanni slides into the booth again and nods at Lex. "Sorry about that," he says as if it wasn't a big deal. "So I assume you don't play any sports?" He asks as if that moment had never happened. Giovanni's arms however were still strained and he spoke through a slightly clenched jaw.

Sera frowns slightly and takes his hand, she starts rubbing soothing circles along the top and he relaxes slightly gazing at Lex intently.

Lex shook her head to answer his question. Once again she felt like a third wheel around the two of them. She clenched her fists tightly.

Sera suddenly brightens. Letting go of Giovanni's hand she looks at Lex and smiles. "You should come to our house!" She exclaims

Lex's long hair fell into her eyes. She shrugged, not comfortable with staying around them. She felt cold, something strange that happened when she was with Sera, like she was taking energy from her. Of course she wasn't buy it felt that way

Sera goes quiet and nods. She finishes the hot chocolate in silence before standing up and throwing it away. Sighing, she walks back towards the booth and slides in. "Ok here's the deal, I know that I can be annoying and stupid and that I don't think about what I do before I do it but please? Come over? I'm bored and I don't start back at school for another week." She says looking at Lex hopefully.

Giovanni watches Lex curiously before flicking his gaze over at Sera. He had noticed she had become dull, tired, and not as happy as she was when they first found her.

"You're none of those things," when she looked up her eyes seemed slightly sad but she gave a weak smile "sure I'll come" Lex combed a hand through her hair

Lex nods and stands up. She walks around the booth and pulls Lex's hand. "Come on, once I get a job I thikn we also need a girls day out." She says winking and grins.

Giovanni follows, getting out of the booth. He drops a few dollar bills on the table before standing behind Sera looking around.

"He's comings?" Lex whispered into Sera's ear. She gazed at Giovanni but quickly looked away when he saw her

Sear flicks her gaze back at Giovanni and shrugs, "I don't know. He can hear you by the way." She whispers back before smiling. "Do you want him too? He can but he doesn't have too."

She turned bright red "Sure, he can come. I don't care" she tried to sound casual but failed miserably. It came out in a squeak

Sera grins and links her arm through Lex's before nodding. "Well lets go then!" She says happily and walks out of the door Giovanni following behind at a long and loping gait.

Lex allows herself to be pulled along. Once she smiled over her shoulder at him

Giovanni nods slightly to Lex and continues on behind them. Sera looks at Giovanni and he pulls out a cell phone. Sending a quick text he then looks up and nods. Sera grins and looks at Lex. "Your about to go to our house in the best style possible." She says happily and a smooth black car with tinted windows pulls up along the curb.

Lex gave them a questioning look and stared at the car. Usually she didn't live cars since she could fly everywhere.
