Every year I read at least one Charles Dickens book in December. I call it Dickens in December" celebration. This year I've drawn My 9 year old into the festivities. We are going to read A Christmas Carol and Oliver this year and have a daytrip to Galveston Island's "Dickens on the Strand" event. It's going to be so fun! We are also planning a reading tea party where each of us will read aloud the "good parts" of our Dickens books. I just had an idea! I could knit is Scrooge hats to wear during our performances! I love Dickens in December!
