Hey everyone! I'm Sandee. I have been in GR for a while and have loved reading books ever since and also develop a passion for reviewing. I mostly read and review YA and New Adult books. If you want to check my reviews and blogs, check it out at sandeelovesbooks.blogspot.com

my current favorite books are the Lux series, Iron Fey series, Infernal Devices, Sweet Evil series, The Fault in our Stars, Easy, The Secret of Ella and Micha, False Memory.

I'm Beatrice, I usually read random genres whenever I feel like it. Usually I read YA and Contemporary Romance.. I'm looking forward to everything. :)

Hello Sandee, thanks for the invite. I'm a member of GR just this year, so I'm relatively new here. I read books since I was a child and I'm an occasional reader only until this year I got hooked reading, I review some books here on GR, but I don't keep my own blog, since I don't have much time to manage one. I read from children books to fantasy adult books. I don't read tragic stories or dramas (Life has enough drama).

Me too! Lux series, I love that series (Daemon xD); I have too many books to choose from I can't decide which are my favorites... LOL.

Anyways, most of the time, I choose books based on their covers. xD

EDIT: I forgot to metion my name. LOL. I prefer to be called Majuchan (my net name)

I am Sara and I love young adult, and like mostly all genres of it. Just check out my list of books. I do like the books to have romance, but it's not a must. Today my favorite authors are Amy Bartol, Jennifer Armentrount, Rachel Higginson, etc. I am a mother of 6, and I read every minute I can.

Hi new friends! I'm Gretchen -- I'm 24, whasian, and the owner of two kind of amazing miniature schnauzers. My young adult novel, Terra, debuts next week! Hey all, I'm Sarah! Next week is finals week, and I have a 20 page paper due in 2 days. Yet I'm on goodreads, day-dreaming about my break so that I can indulge in the many books on my "to-read" list. Sigh. I'm a total reading junkie.

I'm mainly into YA contemporary/paranormal romance, but I don't discriminate. I'll read anything that catches my interest. :) I'm looking forward to some engaging discussions and book suggestions!

What do you want to do with the group? I just left all my other groups to follow your two ones. I read a lot of YA books and I also love those New Adult, some Urban Fantasy and Paranornal Romance for Adults. But mostly YA. I don't mind helping you Sandee. I know you do a lot and you've turned me on to a lot of good books. Just let me know what you have in mind.

Thanks a lot Melinda. :p I really appreciate that! I just like people talking about books and sharing their reviews and all that. I want it to be as lively and as active as possible. My other group actually started being inactive for some reason but the Buddy Reader's group has been doing well with Novel and Jona and Greta handling it. :p
Have any suggestions though?

I think if a group gets too big, people are afraid to talk too much. Or they feel lost. Or even someone is just on a group to promote their own work, which is nice, but not always good. I would love to just talk books. I mean there are so many things to learn. And I love reading YA. I didn't start till a couple of years ago. It's an awesome genre. I've been watching your posts on Julie Kagawa. I have yet to read any of her work. I was thinking about getting her new vampire story. What do you think? I like romances in books.

I agree. I want just an active group even though its not really big. :p Julie Kagawa is one of my favorite authors. You have to try her books. Start with Iron Fey series though. There was not one book I didn't like of hers.

Yeah something like that. Its more like a Mature-YA book. Usually it is about college kids doing something more than kissing. But of course there's a story too but then there are scenes that are not for younger teens. So hence, they made a new genre. New Adult. :p

I'm Ida. And like Sandee, I read mostly YA and New Adult. But I admit that am more of a paranormal girl than a contemporary, but hey, I'll still read anything as long as its good. I just crave for something that takes my imagination to a whole other level. ;)

My favorite series are The Mortal Instruments Series, Shade Trilogy, Unearthly Series, Sweet Evil Trilogy, Lux Series, Covenant Series, Touch Series, Percy Jackson Series, Iron Fey Series, The Infernal Devices Series and the list goes on. Hahaha!
