I remember when I first joined and all my posts were a sentence of less, and was just plain awful...

Now I post things like this(well, this one is a bit overboard... but whatever):

Keith had been at the pond for a while now, but he was as clueless that Jonquil was there as much that she was of him. Keith had been here for a while, probably a little while earlier then when the other girl arrived. He sat in the branch of a tall willow tree leaning against the trunk, the tree hung over the water on one part. The pond was a place that Keith liked to come after a day of hard work, though usually he could only afford to make it merely one day in a week, and sometimes he couldn't make it at all. Keith didn't have much time, practically having to take over the role of the parent when he wasn't at work. At the moment though his other siblings, the older ones, were home, so it gave him an opportunity for a small break from the world. It was here that Keith almost seemed able to forget about the world, forget whom he was, it was here that he was able to dream of impossible things.

Hidden in a grove high in the tree Keith kept a notebook and a pencil, it was in there that he let the inner parts of his being, the inner secrets of his dreams. If you were to find his notebook it wouldn't be what you would expect, not written like some school girl's dairy. Instead you would find drawings, mechanical drawings and architectural designs, on one of the pages was a design for a large ship. While on another page you would find some sort of makeshift map, one that was incomplete, the center of the map was the Xylon village. Keith was merely a servant, and wouldn't amount more then a piece of dirt no matter what he dreamed of, it was the sad truth of this reality.

At the moment Keith was focused not on what was happening in the pond, for all he knew everyone had left a while back and he was alone, but was focusing on a design for some make-shift wings. Keith knew it was silly and impossible, but he was amused by the thought of flying away from this place. Not that he would, mind you, his family needed him, and how could he abandon them? Well, the obvious solution would be to make more wings, Keith thought to himself.

Suddenly there was a loud splash in the pond that attracted Keith's attention. Keith, being curious, looked over to see what it was. He could see the head of someone, and from the long hair he thought it was probably a girl. Keith craned his neck to see if he could tell more, but unfortunately for him he had leaned just a bit to far and slipped of the branch. Keith tumbled through the tree, breaking a few small branches as he did so. If it was any consolation, his notebook landed on the edge of the pond, instead of rolling into the water like Keith did, quite ungracefully might I note. (hide spoiler)]

If I am able to go from a single sentence to that, then you bet that their is hope for you. >.<

The only problem I would have under RPing would be with groups like this where their isn't necessarily an actual plot or structure. Then I end up just being like, "Merp", and then I sort of just don't feel motivated or inspired to do anything. xP

A lot of times we just start our own storylines.

It's the free-for-all you can do whatever you want. Without some sort of task or anything, instead I am just like this:

I have millions of ideas and there are countless of possibilities, but without some sort of anchor I just become bored and unmotivated to do anything rather then try and organize an idea.

I just what I do.

Like we had an awful art teacher who just told you to do whatever and you would get a 100. Mind you, this was an actual high school course. When he tells me to do whatever, I just stare at a piece of paper with a pencil in my mind feeling sorely unmotivated to do anything. Until I then do draw something, but I draw it with little to no effort and half of the time it turns into something dark.

Without something to anchor my ideas and imagination, I just lack any sort of motivation.

Do you see what I mean?
I just don't have any passion when someone tells me to do anything.

Sorry, I am just a difficult person to get motivated into doing something... ._.

When I first joined this group I never RPed before, and so I was motivated by the thought of making a character and RPing it. Then I gradually just became bored and my mind drifted away loosing interest... >.>
