What I loved about this book was it was classic romance. Hero and heroine meet, are antagonistic towards each other, let their attraction build, then fall into each others arms. I would have liked to see more of the surrounding characters brought in and I thought the scene with Chloe's ex a bit rushed. It could have been built up for more tension
Carrie -- I agree with you. The part with the ex seemed up to come up all of a sudden and was resolved very quickly. More of a build up wouldn't have felt so rushed. But other than that, I really enjoyed Chase and Chloe's story.
My favorite part of Chloe and Chase's story was Chloe herself. I could really relate to her hesitancy to let love in after her messy divorce. I think a lot of women can relate.
I loved this story!!! Of course I totally love Chase...that bathroom/bathtub scene was the best!!!Personally I was happy the scene with the ex was resolved quickly, although he was a part of the story and Chloe, I was happy to see him dealt with. :)

Hi Carrie! I'm glad you enjoyed the book. Actually, you might be interested to know that when Harlequin MIRA puts out the paperback of THE LOOK OF LOVE on May 28th, it will be a greatly extended and enhanced edition of the story. Soon after, I will also update the digital version of the book as well. I love the current version of the book - but I'm also really pleased with the chance to get back in there and make their love story even richer. :) Bella

Emlyn - I've heard from so many women who've read the book and said the same thing - that they could totally relate to her situation and her fears about future love.

I know I won't! Even as I was writing it, I was wondering what in the heck Chase and Chloe were doing?!?! But of course, it was just how things needed to play out for them....

Did you all enjoy the glimpse into the world of fashion photography? I know I did! I also loved that Chloe was able to use her quilting skills to save the day.
