Debbie Are there any other books about MC's that anyone can recommend? I've read Madeline Sheehan's book and most of Kristen Ashley's books. Any others?

~IreneOust~ I hear Wild Riders series is pretty good but they are not cheap. I've only purchased the first book so far but have yet to read it. It has gotten some good reviews though.

Erin Motorcycle Man Undeniable

are both based around MC's and both really good, Undeniable is retty harsh at some points but I really liked them both.

~IreneOust~ Erin, it sounds like Debbie read those two and is looking for something similar :)

Debbie Thanks! I will actually be able to check out The Wild Rider series from my local library's online digital library. Yay! Especially since they are expensive.

Angela Julie Ann Walker has a series called Black Knights Inc. It's a cross between motorcycles and special ops. There are 4 in the series so far.

Christine A few I haven't read yet but figured I'd let you all know about them... Wilde Ride (Ride, #1) by Maegan Lynn Moores Sweet Ride (Ride, #2) by Maegan Lynn Moores Down & Dirty (Colson Brothers, #1) by Reese Madison Daunting Turns (Colson Brothers, #2) by Reese Madison Tough Justice - Seeds of Doom by Russell Turney Sassy Road (Heroes and Rogues #1) by Destiny Blaine Victory Rising (Heroes and Rogues Series,#2) by Destiny Blaine

~IreneOust~ Thanks, Christine! I just got Tough Justice and Riding Wild but they'll need to take a number ... So many books to read, so little time :(

Sandy Just read Biker Rockstar series (Phoenix Rockstar and Heartsong) good read. Not as good as Undeniable, but worth the read.

Natalie I have been wanting to read Motorcycle Man but do I need to read the series in order?

Peggy I was wondering as well if the Dream Man series needs to be read in order or if could start with Motorcycle Man and then read Mystery Man and the other 2.
Off to check out this Biker Rockstar series...........

Bev I would say it needs to be read in order, so see the links the H's/ have with earlier h's

Elena Let's see if I can explain myself, I did exactly what your question was... it worked for me because Tack was my favorite of the Dream men, and he was the reason I started reading the series. Book 1 was my least favorite of them and probably if I had started with that one I would have had my doubts. Don't get me wrong the series is awesome but I got a bit mad with the caracters in book 1.
And here comes the big BUT...Just like Bev Said it's better to read them in order because there are some things that are brougth again in the next book so it helps having background.

Natalie Thanks ladies. I think I will start with book 1, Mystery Man but since I have a ton of TBR books already on my Kindle this series will have to wait.

message 16: by ~IreneOust~ (new) - added it

~IreneOust~ Just FYI, I finished the first of the Wild Riders books and it's a typical Jaci Burton novel - basically lots of erotica with a story thrown into the mix. If you are a fan of Jaci's work, you will enjoy it. The hero is a motorcycle riding alpha, however, I wouldn't classify this as a MC book. Definitely NOT KA's MM, Reaper's Property or Undeniable.

Interesting comment, I did not like Mystery Man and as it was my first KA book I didn't continue.

~IreneOust~ I just had this discussion on another forum -- I can't believe some people don't care for Hawk. Why???

message 19: by Elena (last edited Feb 11, 2013 04:27PM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Elena I guess because of the way he was at the beginning with her... he was really mean, the way he treated her, as if she was no one important, I don't know. I guess he didn't make that click that the other Heroes did make in my head... for me it's not that I totally dislike him but that out of the guys in the 4 books he was my least favorite.

Dee Has anyone read Running with the Devil by Lorelei James ?

Debbie Donna wrote: "Has anyone read Running with the Devil by Lorelei James?"

I have not, but I'll definitely check this out.

Natalie Donna wrote: "Has anyone read Running with the Devil by Lorelei James?"

I haven't read it yet either but it does sound good. Added it to my TBR list.

Terri (N.J.) Irene wrote: "I just had this discussion on another forum -- I can't believe some people don't care for Hawk. Why???"

I know, I loved Hawk he was my favorite!

I'm 25% in and so far it is not very MC orientated, that might change!

I would definitely read the books in order.

yeah, people from previous books make an appearance and it will make more sense.

Thanks Donna. I might pass on it for now especially if it doesn't have much MC in it.

I read it. Good but not LJ's best. It's sexy and there's a suspense plot, but too short (for me). It's not about an MC tho. The hero is a law enforcement agent and the heroine is a student who are undercover and there happens to be some MC members thrown in to that.

Karen Elena wrote: "I guess because of the way he was at the beginning with her... he was really mean, the way he treated her, as if she was no one important, I don't know. I guess he didn't make that click that the o..."

Elena- I too read MM 1st. He is by far my favorite Dream Man. Actually, he is my #1 book boyfriend, without hesitation. I've read this book at least five times. I will read a lot of different books, but then I start to miss Tack, and I have to read it again. I did not like Mystery Man the first time I read it. It was my least favorite in the Dream Man series. Even so, the worst Kristen Ashley book is, by far, better than most other romance books, so it is still excellent. Recently, I went back and read it again, and I have to say, I like Hawk and Gwen a lot more than I did before. Tack and Tyra are still my favorites. I think if I had read them in order I would have liked Hawk better. So, I would suggest reading the Dream Man series in order, simply because Tack will ruin you for all the others!! :))

And the heroine is a pain in the arse. I liked a strong female character but so far she just seems like a right bitch, lol.

Caitlin Try Some of these:
Satin and Steel (Rhiannon and Dax) by Jayna Vixen
Hot Ride by Kelly Jamieson
Cade by Liliana Hart

Club Justice by Mara McBain

Stevie I absolutely loved Reaper's. I have read Undeniable which was good but didn't like it as much as RP. I read the Mystery Men series, (my reading-OCD won't let me read a series out of order, so to me, you should read them in order BTW), and Motorcycle man was my favorite, but if Hawk was game... yeah no reservations there, LOL. I still have not found anything like RP so keep the suggestions coming please!! Thanks for the thread!

Billie I read Reese Madison's Colson Brothers and liked it though # 2 is harsh.

Motorcycle Man has sent me on a search for some great romance in an MC environment. I liked Reaper's Property as well.

Angie Elle FYI--Kristen Ashley just released Own the Wind (Chaos, #1) by Kristen Ashley , and it is amazing!

Hayley Faiman Angie wrote: "FYI--Kristen Ashley just released Own the Wind (Chaos, #1) by Kristen Ashley, and it is amazing!"

Everything by KA is amazing!!! :) Love an Alpha Male for sure!

Bev Angie wrote: "FYI--Kristen Ashley just released Own the Wind (Chaos, #1) by Kristen Ashley, and it is amazing!"

One of her best yet, wow I think I need to go back to the beginning and try and read it slower the second time round. Love it

I was thinking the same thing! LOL I'm not finished yet, but this is defintely re-readable!

Bev The problem is no matter what book you try to follow this with it just is not going to measure up, I can see me starting and DNF'ing quite a few. Hmmm maybe need to start back at Mystery Man to sooth my soul hahaha

Angie Elle This was my first Kristen Ashley book, and it was amazing! She set the bar high for herself. LOL

Angie wrote: "This was my first Kristen Ashley book, and it was amazing! She set the bar high for herself. LOL"

Angie, you should read the whole dream man series, chaos is a spin off from that. The characters are also in the unfinished heroes series, but not in a huge way. You just added another seven books that you HAVE to read if you liked Own the Wind!

Angie Elle Oh, yes. I will definitely be reading the Dream Man series!

Hayley Faiman dream man series is awesome but so is Colorado mountian series and the burg series by Kristen Ashley!!! all excellent reads!!

Hayley wrote: "dream man series is awesome but so is Colorado mountian series and the burg series by Kristen Ashley!!! all excellent reads!!"

They are all on my TBR pile, but I am still rereading the other series... so great! I love love love to read about an alpha male. He would have to be some kind of HAWT for me to put up with him in real life though!

Angie Elle I plan on making my way through the entire back list. LOL Something tells me I have a lot of good reads in store. ;)

message 47: by Dee (new) - rated it 4 stars

Dee I saw 10 new posts and thought I would have a list of MC books to read...........not so :(

Come on peeps, there must be many more!

Elena Own the wind is finally out (the first book in Chaos series) !!! Haven't read it but it must be awesome

Sandy Loved Own the Wind, great start for a new series. Kept tabs on old characters and added new ones.

Malinda Natalie wrote: "I have been wanting to read Motorcycle Man but do I need to read the series in order?"

I didn't read the others in the series. Motorcycle Man was my first read by KA and I wasn't bothered by the lack of background...it made me curious about the other books in the series but I didn't think it took down my enjoyment at all.
