Okay guys, so I think if we all talk in third person, we don't have to choose characters. A plot can be either worked out as we go or we can work it out right now. What do you guys think?

Choosing Characters makes it easier. And there will be no powerplaying.

We need to work it out beforehand, or it's going to get so confusing and complicated the RP will die because no one has any idea what's going to happen next. If we come up with a general idea, we can work out finer points of action that will happen in what order. Once we get everything worked out, then we can insert our characters and OCs and let them react accordingly.
If you'd be so kind as to make another topic for plot ideas, that would keep everything much more organized!

I'll just lurk until I understand a little more of how to interact. Can we create our own characters? I could just be the old lady sitting in the corner watching it all.

You can be anyone you want. You can be clever, ditzy, crazy, timid... anything. I can make a character sheet for everyone to fill out and we can set it up. I could even make a whole other group for it so it can be entirely organized and clear and easy to follow!

And the thing about the old lady? She can turn out to be someone really important at the end of the story! Who knows? Once we get all our characters worked out, we can make a general plot and just roleplay it out.

How you Roleplay: I write something in third person about where we are, set up what's going on, and my character's reaction. You write a response in third person about how your character is reacting and responding to my character. I write a response. We go back and forthi and it makes a story. With so many people, we could make a hell of a complex, exciting story!

Since it's the 50th, I think we should get all the Doctors involved somehow. Maybe all the incarnations of the Doctor are trapped inside the TARDIS by an evil monster who managed to slip inside, and we need to save them!

Ooooh, I have an idea! Since we will never make it to the level of storytelling as Moffat, why don't we make it a crossover roleplay? I want a Star Trek/Doctor Who one! We could have the Borg invade the TARDIS and try to assimilate the Doctors!

I'm not educated on Star Trek, so I might have to skip out on that part, but otherwise, sounds great! Axela, why don't you head this part? I'm not educated on how Roleplay works. I like the idea of a seperate Roleplay group: Why don't you make one and then post the link here?
