Through publishing six books I've tried out several promotional avenues. I've been here on Goodreads, Library Thing, Shelfari, and World Literary Cafe. I Set up a Twitter account, LinkedIn and Facebook for each of my books and then a separate author Facebook. I even put my books on Pinterest. It's been a real ride for someone who was not into social media before publishing a book.

Well actually I left off one avenue which is setting up a blog. You can set up a free one through wordpress.com and connect it to most of your social media sites. That has been a big help to me as a writer. I've connected with people all over the world. Twitter has been an awesome tool. It's amazing when I Tweet my books the views go up on my buy sites. Good luck with your new book. Let me know how it goes.
