Better Read Than Dead Book Club discussion

I hope y'all are ready for our June novel! I've heard great things about Eleanor and Park. Have any of you actually heard anything negative about it, just curious. Also, who has their copy already? I certainly do!

For next month's book we're looking for something unlike what we've already read and are open to suggestions and we'll narrow it down before putting up a poll.

Hows everyone going with this months book?

I'm about 100 pages in, and am so far enjoying it! Though I must say the romance aspect escalated a bit quick for my liking. I believe romance more when it develops over a longer period. But am otherwise enjoying it! How's everyone else enjoying it?

Just so y'all know since we are reading Never Always Sometimes by Adi Alsaid in September, Adi was nice enough to send me some bookmarks to give you guys. I'm thinking of sending them out in August and I only have enough for our current members, but if you want one just let me know!

To be clear, there is no picking. Just future members probably won't get one. All current members who are interested definitely get a bookmark! LOl.

So i am currently up to page 241 and im enjoying it to an extent. I agree woth the falling in live too quickly it makes the story more unrealistic

Ive finished and i did enjoy it! It was such a cute story! What was everyone else's thoughts?

I still haven't finished it, but making my way through slowly...
So far, I like that we come to know both characters well. Usually in romances, the story is told from one person's perspective and so you only know their side of things. I like that we know both characters, their motivations and their thoughts of each other.
What's everyone else thinking?
