Fantasy and Vampire Book Club discussion

Summer, UF/PNR, series challenge.
So summer either starts June 1st or June 21st and ends August 31st or September 23rd depending on whether you go by meteorological summer or astrological (official) summer. So I'm going to cover both with this challenge and go from June 1st to September 23rd , almost 4 months. For those in the southern hemisphere, I'll try to make it relevant.

Summer
1. Vacation – either has a vacation planned or taken or is set in a vacation city/place.
2. Water – Has a scene at the beach, lake, pool, river with swimming, or has a summery water scene on the cover.
3. Longest Day (night for the south) – read a book with 400 pages or more.
4. Shortest Night (day for the south) – read a book/novella/short that has fewer than 250 pages.
5. Set in a place you would like to visit/vacation, even if it is a fictitious place.

UF/PNR a book with a characters that is.
1. Vampire
2. Shifter
3. Fae/fairy/pixie/elemental
4. Witch/magic user (includes druids, elemental, psychics)
5. Others, (dragons, selkies, Valkyries, gods, incubus, etc... )

Series/Authors – book that is
1. a new to you series or author
2. a continuation of a series you read
3. recommended to you more than once, it can be general recommendations like NYT top 10
4. an old TBR that you keep meaning to start, published before 2010
5. a new TBR published in the last 2 years June 2013 to September 2015

So far I've only read re-reads this month, and I was going to try to avoid re-reads but I'll have to use them since it is almost 1/3 through the month. I am finally reading a new book, Shards of Hope, really excellent read.

Sweep In Peace Sweep in Peace 2nd of the Innkeepers by Ilona Andrews, is now available here, for free reading. I Loved the first so I'll fit it in this summer.

I forgot that this is a whole summer challenge, so will try to change back to first reads... only re-reading Immortals After Dark and the Psy-Changelings has been so fun.

I haven't yet finished Sweep in Peace, I did finish the first.

I'm doing it a 2nd time :D

So I finished but I'm go to substitute new reads for my re-reads. I did a lot of re-reads in June and the beginning of July.
