Two weeks in!1. The Sign
Still in the middle of Ready Player One, and I'm also reading Kelly Braffet's Save Yourself.
Three weeks in!1. The Sign
2. Save Yourself
3. Inside the O'Briens
4. Ready Player One (audio)
I'm ahead! That's probably not going to last all summer, but I'll enjoy it while I can.

I'm currently in the middle of Wendy Webb's The Vanishing as well as the audiobook of Amy Pohler's Yes Please, so hopefully by next Monday I'll be ahead again.
The bigger factor is that my husband is letting me. He's really good about making sure I have downtime. The little man is... less accommodating.

8. The Vanishing
I'm in the middle of Ernest Cline's Armada and the audio of Tina Fey's Bossypants. Next up I'm planning to re-read Joe Hill's first two books, Heart-Shaped Box and Horns. That will put me at twelve... and then I don't know what I'll do for lucky number thirteen. Maybe another re-read? Maybe another audio? Maybe something off my TBR? Who knows...
But what I do know is that I wouldn't be reading this much if not for the summer challenge. I really didn't think I'd be able to average a book a week. I don't know if I'll keep up this pace once summer is over, but it's nice to be slowly chipping away at that TBR, even with a new baby to take care of. Maybe I'll even reach 75 by the end of the year after all! (Not likely.)

Just one book away!
I did it! With three weeks to spare! Three audiobooks, four re-reads, five new books......and - with my thirteenth book - one comic: Ms. Marvel, Vol. 1: No Normal
This has been a great challenge (even if I am fudging the guidelines a bit). Turns out that it is possible to average a book a week while taking care of a newborn! Who knew? Mixing in the audiobooks and re-reads was huge for motivation and momentum; even if I did have that many unread books lying around, I doubt I could have finished 13 new books in the same amount of time.

I haven't finished anything yet, but I'm currently in the middle of a re-read of Raymond Khoury's The Sign, as well as a re-listen(?) of Ernest Cline's Ready Player One. Hopefully by next week I'll have finished both of these and be back on track.
