The Mystics discussion

Tomlin grunted in frustration and ran a hand through his messy hair. He was so focused on the papers strewn about the table he didn't notice the girl coming up behind him until she sighed and put her hand on his shoulder. He jumped and had his hand on the sword buckled around his waist before he realized who it was. "Don't do that And! You know better than to sneak up on me!" Andromeda gave him a dirty look, "oh please you're one of our mighty leaders shouldn't it be harder to 'sneak up' on you?" Tomlin made a face, "come on we both know you're like some kind of ninja." She smirked, "and don't you forget it."

Jewel muttered a laugh, then looked back down to the paper work, they had to find out what was going on and where they need to attack, if they could just figure out were the carriage will come

"Why don't you two take a break? The carriage won't be traveling for at least another few days, you can make plans later. You're both exhausted and in need of rest. You won't be making any coherent plans like this." Andromeda said, seeing that both of them had dark circles under their eyes.

Jewel sighed she wanted to keep going but she knew Andromeda was right she hadn't been to bed in over 48 hours they could both do with a break."She is right Tomlin we should leave this to tomorrow, we are both dead on our feet and will probably make mistakes like this"

Tomlin nodded reluctantly and pushed back from the table, knowing the girls were right. "Fine. Maybe we do need rest." Andromeda nodded, ready to catch either of them if they swayed on their feet.

"Does anyone want to help me feed fireador(dragon) I need to feed him before I retire" she looked at them both smirking

Andromeda shuddered, remembering the last time someone had tried to help feed the evil dragon. The resulting third degree burns had taken weeks for her to heal. "No thanks, Tomlin if you want to help be my guest. I'll be waiting outside the door with the burn cream and bandages." Tomlin rolled his eyes, "sure I'll help." He said, fighting a yawn.

Jewel laughed,her dragon did not get on with everyone."come on then, he should be down by the dark lake" she gestured for Tomlin to follow her.

Tomlin yawned and ran a hand through his messy hair. He walked into the room and stopped short when he saw Andromeda hunched over the circular table snoring lightly.

Jewel

"And? What are you doing?" Tomlin asked, gently shaking her shoulder.

Jewel walked in with a heap of new papers in her arms, placing them on the table."we have news on the carriage, but we have to train the newbies today" she slouched down in a chair

Andromeda shot up, sitting up straight and stifling a yelp. Tomlin smirked and sat down next to Jewel to look through the papers. "Have a nice night And?" He said as he sorted through the reports.

Jewel sighed" we can't do both, we both need to be there got the newbie training, but one needs to look at the paper work" there was no way they could get both of them done today

"You're right but we have to get both done today." Tomlin said in frustration.

" Andromeda is there anyway you could help?, what do you have today?" Turning to Andromeda rubbing her eyes

"I'm not sure I'll be of much help," Andromeda replied as she looked out the window. "They sent me away from the infirmary to get some sleep about an hour ago, there's a little girl who's very sick and they need me to help keep her stable. In fact I should probably head back and make sure her fever has gone down."

Jewel sighed," never mind ill get it done don't worry" she would have to stay up and do it later tonight while everyone else went to bed

"Sorry," Andromeda said as she got to her feet and headed out. "I'd like to help but a healer's work takes priority."

Jewel leaned back into her chair she had about 10 minutes before breakfast and an hour before traning. she spread out the maps and the new information and read over it

Tomlin grabbed a small stack of papers which slipped through his fingers as his vision darkened. "Now is not the time for this." He muttered as everything went black. When he could see again he was no longer in the meeting place with Jewel, he was standing on a hill and watching a young girl about his age being chased by huge slavering beasts. He was physically unable to look away as the beasts caught up to her and tore her to pieces. The girl screamed as she disappeared from view, her body being blocked by the animals. The vision stopped and he snapped back to the meeting place.

Jewel ran over to Tomlin as he fell to the ground, she held his head off the ground all that was going through her head was 'please be ok'. As his eyes opened she sighed a breath of releaf." are you ok?, what just happened" She asked Tomlin worried sick of what just happened

Tomlin look up at Jewel's worried eyes and realized he was on the ground. He slowly sat up and repressed the urge to heave, thinking about what he had seen. "I'm fine Jewel, don't worry about it. This happens sometimes, as long as I didn't hit my head too hard I'll be fine." He said, standing up. "We should get back to work."

Jewel looked at him uncertain,she got up and graved his arm and pulled him towards a chair," you sit down now" she demanded

"We cant have our leader passing out again, and defentally not in front of the men, you wait here ill beright back with some food". Jewel came back with two bowls and two drinks and shoved one of each to tomlin,"now eat or im going to get andromeda" she saod looking at him waiting for him to take the bowl

Tomlin took what she gave him but said nothing. He couldn't help it if it happened again. It wasn't something he could control.

Jewel noticed he looked really sad, " hey you wanna tell me what happened there" she said trying to make him look at her.

"I saw a girl being literally ripped to pieces." Tomlin said, his voice cracking. He took a steadying breath, "nothing else that would be useful to us."

Jewel stepped back," what, no wonder you looked sad" jewel graved his hand," it's ok it didn't really happen"

Tomlin smiled darkly, if only she knew he thought. He knew for a fact that it was real, it just hadn't happened yet.

Jewel looked back at the paper work, and sighed," do you think you could give me a hand I might need it" pointing to the paper work

Ava wandered the halls looking for th infirmary and stumbled across Andromeda, Jewel and Tomlin.

((Andromeda isn't in here))

(She's in infirmary right now)

"Yeah, sure." Tomlin replied and sat back down, reaching for the stack he had grabbed before the vision had hit him.

((Ok I'm back for good now, sorry I had my zone swimming carnival))
As jewel was going through the reports, she hit something." That's it" she yelled and hit the table with her hand

Tomlin looked up and leaned towards her, trying to see what it was that had gotten her so excited.

The report stated' I have good news, the time of the place the carriage will arrive at our spot, it will hit the main road in exactly 4 days at 10 past noon'. " that's it Tomlin that's what we have been looking for" jewel was joyed, no more late nights and risking men they had it when the crystal orb would change the place from one lord to the next

Jewel looked up at Tomlin he was so close to her face that she blushed and turned her head

"That's great, now we can focus on the new recruits until the carriage comes by." Tomlin said.

"Um yer" jewel said still not looking at him as he was so close,"now we don't have to worry about this, just the training"

jewel walked in seeing there was nobody else inhere and no work on the desk she moved to the tranning grounds

Tomlin sat heavily in one of the chairs and put his head in his hands.

Jewel came in not long after and stopped where she was when she saw him. She looked at him in concern "are you ok Tomlin?"

He sat up and smiled though it didn't reach his eyes, "I'm fine." He said and started sorting through some of the papers they had abandoned earlier.
