"Listen up soldiers!" Tomlin barks at the small group of slightly cowed Fraudulents. "Jewel and I will be teaching you the ins and outs of being a Fraudulent. Here our word is law. Got that?" He continues and they all nod nervously.

Jewel looks at Tomlin and takes the command," right I don't wanna fights that aren't training, no crying like little girls and no back chat. I want you all I split into four groups, archers, sword, hand to hand and then any other weapons. Tomlin and I will both be waking around to check your technique. At each of the areas there is a list of things you must do once you have completed them you move to the next group, understand now go", jewel and Tomlin watched them get into their groups and go into their designated spot. " which group you want first" looking at Tomlin

"I'll take sword if you don't mind." He said, already looking and shaking his head in disapproval at the tactics being used.

Dam jewel thought," I'll take archers then" she walked off before he could complain, she always took the archers

Tomlin walked over to the handful of swordsmen and immediately started correcting their stances and how they held their practice swords.

Jewel was continually telling one guy that he was better to hold the bow straight but he didn't seam to listen, most of the guys were pretty good, she could wait for the girls later tomorrow. When she had gone around and checked everyone twice she moved to hand-to-hand it seamed like Tomlin had the same idea

Tomlin sighed as one of the more cocky recruits decided that because the leaders were young they were weak. The recruit then tried to prove his theory by coming at Tomlin from behind. Tomlin easily beat him, leaving him curled up on the ground as he eyed the other recruits to squelch any of the others questioning him or Jewel.

Jewel watched as Tomlin nocked the older over, then she walked over to the guy,"just because we are younger doesn't mean we are easily beat" she turned around to the other people in the group,"ok Split yourselves up into groups of 4, lets see if you can get passed us" jewel waved her hand between the two of them. Lets see how cocky they are after this. Jewel knew that when Tomlin and her worked together no one could beat them. She took her position as the first group came up

Tomlin didn't do much as the first group attacked hesitantly, letting Jewel take them all out. As the second group came at them with more vigor he tripped up the front runner and snickered as the man tumbled to the ground, taking down two other members of the group.

Tomlin and jewel moved quick through the teams, no one could even cause a sweat on jewels face, Tomlin moved so swift for a guy jewel couldn't help but be amazed even her own grace with fighting it was still hard to keep up with him

As Jewel took the last man went down Tomlin's stomach growled. "Well I'd like to say you made me work up an appetite but I haven't eaten for almost two days." He said.

Jewel looked around most of the groups were all at the hand to hand combat staring at them," I guess it's time for lunch then guys, you all get an hour break along with that now scat" jewel told them waving them away

Tomlin watched in amusement as they walked away, throwing resent filled glares back at him and Jewel. "Looks like we have our work cut out for us with this lot." He said.

Jewel looked at Tomlin," there a cocky bunch aren't they, it seams we will have to whip them out of it before we head off, show them who is really boss around here" smirking at Tomlin, jewel warmed down with her stretches

"They'll get over it eventually." Tomlin said, following suit.

When she was finished jewel headed down to the dark lake to cool down

Tomlin slicked back his still wet hair and surveyed the troops.

the troops were happy for their extra long break and thats the way that she hoped to keep it as a gift from them, now real trainning would start

He started off the real training by ordering a few circuits around the towers.

Once they were finished running, they practiced making quick traps they had 5 mins to each make a successful trap

"Great now that you've made our own traps go dismantle someone else's!" Tomlin said, fully in drill sergeant mode.

" be carefull not to fall for that persons trap cause who ever does will be cooking tea tonight" Jewel said with authority in her voice

everyone moved back out into the bush while Tomlin and Jewel sat down and waited

Tomlin snickered as he heard the first trap go off accompanied by a yelp from one of the soldiers.

Jewel held in a laugh,she glanced at tomlin and smiled he wouldnt be on cooking duty tonight now, two more traps went off in the space of 2 minutes

By the time the troops all came back there were 7 missing, jewel and Tomlin had to go in avoiding the traps that some people had left still active and get the remaining out of the traps. One was so badly hurt that jewel forced him to got to the infirmary to get treatment

"They get more and more incompetent." Tomlin grumbled as he watched the injured man hang heavily on his friend's shoulder.

Jewels looked at the injured man,"yes but you have to say they are learning, not as fast as we had hopped but their getting there" she smiled

It was starting to get dark and now it was time for the fun stuff to happen. Jewel called the men over to the web they emerged out of the bush, " now it's time for hide and seek". All the men wined that it was a kids game until Tomlin told them the rules as how to play

Tomlin gave them the instructions and split them into two teams. Each member of the 'it' team was assigned a specific member of the other team to find.

Jewel looked at Tomlin as the men went in," wanna play to, ill hide you seek?" She said cocking her head to the forest

Tomlin smirked, "there are so many ways to take that I'm not sure which to choose."

Jewel smiled mischievously ," and what ways would they be?" She said nudging in the arm

"Come on", jewel said turned to make sure no one was near and quickly brushed her lips against his, then slowly walked back into the forest calling out," I'll be waiting for you"

This girl is going to be the death of me, Tomlin thought as he followed after her.

Jewel dashed through the trees moving as fast as she could to put distance between her and Tomlin before she took her hinting spot, she could hear him not far behind her

Tomlin chased after Jewel immediately, not bothering to give her a headstart.

'Dam his fast' jewel thought, there was no way she was going to lose him before she could hid he would catch her before she even got the chance

He was catching up to her, almost within arms-length.

Jewel laughed," so much for give me a chance to hide" she announced over her shoulder and push her self to go faster

"Where's the fun in that?" He called back, not even winded.

They were right near the creek when jewel felt an arm on her back, she lost her balance and started to fall

Tomlin had just barely been able to brush his hand against Jewel when she lost her balance. He extended his arm as far as he could but doing so threw him off balance as well. He wrapped his arms around her and twisted so she was pressed against his chest as they fell with him on the bottom. He grunted as he hit the ground and cushioned Jewel's fall.

Jewel felt Her body being pressed against Tomlin's as they both fell together. When they landed on the ground she heard him grunt and she opened her eyes to find herself on top of him, she looked at him with worry," are you ok? I didn't hurt you did i. Thank you" she fumbled are with her hands checking to make sure he was ok

Tomlin gently grabbed her wrists, "I'm fine Jewel it was just a little fall, it'll take a lot more than that to hurt me." He said.

Jewel felt relived and looked at him closely," good, but don't under estimate the little things" she brushed a strand of hair away from his eyes," Thank you"

Tomlin framed her face with his hands, she was beautiful with her hair tumbling down her shoulders. "I'm fine," he breathed and traced his thumb along her cheekbone.
