Robin Mccormack (robinmccormack) Sorry guys, I missed posting last. Don't know what happened. We are on week 8 and highlighting book # 6 in Susan Wise Bauer's Well Educated Mind fiction list - Jane Eyre.

I'm currently reading Death Comes for the Archbishop by Willa Cather. Enjoying it so far.

Elaine | 4 comments Death Comes for the Archbishop is so beautifully written! I finished that one as book number 3. :) It motivated me to pick up another book by Willa Cather later in the year.

Cleo (cleopatra18) | 274 comments Okay, you've both sold me! I'm doing a genre challenge and I have decided to choose Death Comes for the Archbishop as my western for April. I was struggling with this choice because I don't think I've ever read a book that falls in this genre so thanks for the help!

I'm reading:

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen Pride and Prejudice

and

The Brain That Changes Itself Stories of Personal Triumph from the Frontiers of Brain Science by Norman Doidge The Brain That Changes Itself: Stories of Personal Triumph from the Frontiers of Brain Science

The first one is like visiting an old friend and the second is fascinating so far. The section I just read about the recoveries of stroke victims and the new (or not so new, just not so well-known) therapies they have for autism is very compelling!
