Check out Scott Nicholson book
. He has a number of other books featuring ghosts but this is the one that is most vivid in my mind.
Hi Tasha,I just saw your email. I looked at this book. It definitely has a fascinating premise. Sounds pretty dark! (Hopefully, not too dark for me, but I will give it a try.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Tasha,Here's an update. After slogging through two error-ridden ebooks, I downloaded a sample of The Home last night. The premise is engaging, the voice is distinct, and the pacing is excellent. And so far, no grammar errors!
I'm excited about continuing this book, so happy to find an indie ghost novel that demonstrates professional standards.
Thanks again!
I know one of the people who has an entry in this and got the Kindle version myself and started reading. The Old Weird South
Hi Pamela,How do you like the stories in The Old Weird South? It looks good, but I'm pretty much a novel-reading girl.
Deb, if you're looking for e-book ghost novels, don't forget to check out our Group Members Who Write folder. Our policy is not to let authors recommend their own books outside of that folder (that can open up too much of a Pandora's box, because we writers aren't the most unbiased judges of our own work!). But I'm sure that you can find a lot of listings there for books that would fit what you're looking for --some of them perhaps offered for free or at special prices!

In honor of Read an E-book Week (thanks, Sharon Cathcart for the reminder), I'd like to find a ghost novel. Last year for ebook week, I read and reviewed Ghost Island by Bonnie Hearn Hill, which also has a print version. This year I'd like to go even more indie.
Any suggestions? My area of interest is ghost novels, so no vampires or werewolves or short story collections, please. Thanks for any ideas!
