Trisha, yes I am ready! I have been really sick the past 4 days plus I am still having problems with my Internet. My husband has tried his own quick fixes but to no avail. He's supposed to call tomorrow, so we'll see. Thanks for the reminder!

I feel bad for Grace for all she's gone through. How many people have suffered as much?
I know, I was a little thrown off at first when she was talking about how long she would have to be on this earth with everyone around her dying - I couldn't help but wonder...but then it kept going and we got more history.
I feel like I don't know the characters very well so I feel like it's going kind of fast - without a lot of character development

I'm on chapter 7. I'd have to agree with you about character development. I'm confused about Gabriel. Did I miss something? I didn't think this was a paranormal book but I'm wondering what's going on! Gabriel could be an angel, that's my best guess as of now.
Plus he's like her guide. He knows things like he is spirit.
