Emerson quietly walked into the courtyard, only to find it uninhabited.Of course. It was probably just a trick one of the maids tried to play on her.She sighed and she ran a hand through her now loose hair before turning around to walk back into the castle.
Ronan cut her off, gently grabbing her arm. "Wait, don't leave!"He looked over at her, his notebook had fallen from the tree he had been perched in, papers crumpling against the stone of the courtyard.
She flinched but looked at him, quite surprised he had been there all along.Of course, she could sometimes be very unobservant. "I apologize"she said in a very soft voice, her hair falling in her face as she bowed her head.
"I'm going to tell you something, but you have to trust me, okay? Meet me at the bar tomorrow, make sure no one sees you leave. I'm getting you out of here for awhile while I pull some straws and get things arranged. I have a friend who will take care of you."
Joanna came running out, not at all surprised by what she saw."Finally you two hit it off." She said as she took a deep breath."The maids are starting to suspect things between you two are like serious and if you don't lay lower then some one is bound to tell Aldrich..." She said as she panted.
"W-what?"She said quietly"What are you talking about?"Emerson was completely shocked at his bluntness and how he was doing all this. She had never thought about leaving, not once. She backed away from him in complete shock and she was a bit frightened honestly.
Ronan shot Johanna an annoyed look, ignoring her, "Please Em, you have to, he'll kill you one of these days. I cannot have that on my conscience," he loked around, "We cannot do this here."
Joanna shot them both a look before pointing at Ronan. "If Aldrich finds out you laid a finger on her, not even hurting her, he will go into a fit of rage. You know that." She said sadly before curtseying and looking at Emerson, she stepped towards her and put a hand on her shoulder. "Be safe." She said before running back to the castle.
"Im perfectly fine!"She protested."I cannot bear having people do things for me while I sit there doing nothing.Thats not how I ever wish to live"Emerson said once again her voice softening.
"Are you sure, please, I won't interfere if you promise me you'll keep yourself safe," Ronan offered, gently stroking her cheek, brushing her hair back again. He was nervous, but if she was certain, this was her choice, he could not force it upon her.
"I cannot promise you anything.I cannot stop what has been already started, and I certainly cannot stop him from doing as he likes.I do appreciate you being worried, yet I cannot watch things being done for me.It's not how I was raised."Emerson said with a small sigh.
Ronan looked at her, pulling her to his chest, gently stroking her back. He kissed the girl's head, then let her go and tunred to go back to his room, stopping only to pick up the notebook he had dropped and smooth out the pages for a moment, leaving without a word.
Emersons face was possibly the brightest shade of red. What was this she was feeling? She had never felt like that before, and why had she begun to feel it when he was with her?She sighed in confusion before walking inside, shutting the door behind her.
Jack walked through the court yard curiously. He thought this place was by far the best place had ever seen.
Joanna came rushing out holding a basket of some sort, she had to slamm her foot down to keep from running into jack. "Oh um...." She said blushing.
"Are you okay? Do you have a fever or something?" Jack asked as he reached forward to feel her forehead.
"Okay then, but I'm not going to hurt you." Jack sighed. "In trouble or embarrassement? I can help, trust me, I can."
Fae walked around the courtyard and saw two people she walks over her dragon Brooke following, "need help?"
Jack looked up at Fae. "Just talking to Joanna here." He sees the dragon and gleams. "You have one too?! I knew I wasn't the only one!"
Fae smiled "really you have one?!?!!! Where?"
Joanna eyed the two before her eyes went wide, she suddenly dropped into a low curtsy as Scarlet came out.
Angel was behind her giggling. She was limping cause she was getting used to her fake leg.
Jack whistled and a dragon of ice blue flew above the trees. "I call him Frost." He looked at Joanna and then looked up at Scarlet.
Scarlet nodded at Joanna who stood up gracefully, before straightening her back and looking straight ahead. Scarlet smiled at the two."come follow me you must be tired. Lucy!" She called.
Lucy came flying towards her, her gold scales shimmering.
Lucy came flying towards her, her gold scales shimmering.
"Cool" fae said quietly then turned to scarlet and Angel. Angel ran to her "Fairy!!!!!" She ran into her and far gave a silent uph.
"Uh.. are you telling me to follow you?" Jack asked as his dragon landed gently behind him at a safe distance.Terrain walked out bow in hand. She saw Scarlet and bowed.
Scarlet cut her gaze to angel and Joanna nodded."Miss angel let's get you inside you look a bit pale..." She said gently stealing her inside.
Scarlet smiled. "Come now follow me." She said as she and Lucy walked in.
Scarlet smiled. "Come now follow me." She said as she and Lucy walked in.
Jack followed Scarlet inside."Ma'am, would you like for me to get you or Miss angel anything?" Terrain asked walking behind Jack.
"No thank you Terrian, please retire to your quarters." Scarlet said dryly as she walked to the throne room.
Angel broke away from fae and waved goodbye. "Ok Joanna" she said turning to her. She limped over
Far looked at Jack and shrugged
Brooke, fae's bright blue dragon, flew over and went to frost.
Brooke purred back then snuggled up against frost. She hummed something only understood by dragons. I think fae might like like jack, she said
Sonya flew out and sat beside Lucy, she was small but her dark purple scales made her appear sinister.
Lucy dipped her head before looking at them. Follow us..., she grumbled.
Lucy dipped her head before looking at them. Follow us..., she grumbled.
Sonya hissed her distaste and Lucy glared at her for being to close to Sonya. Sonya turned and flew in.
