DJ Harris (dj6ual) | 3 comments Giveaways (for site appropriate books) - I just so happen to have one running right now, *Hint, Hint!* Lol!

Review/Discussion (for site appropriate books) I have a stack of prepper guides I'm going to be reviewing this month and next that I'd love to share.

Blog Posts/Links (to site appropriate content).

Recipes using survival food(s).

Hope that helps! ;)

Feliks (dzerzhinsky) | 32 comments You're welcome to take a look at any of my groups to see how I arrange categories for discussions.

For example, you can see that all author-promo always belongs in its own section...always. (This is kind of a 'standard' these days as far as Goodreads' groups go).

I also like a category for 'IRL' ('in real life' news stories, etc) and a category for 'Media' (items we've seen in movies, etc)

I like a category I tend to label 'web links' or something like that...strictly for suggested-links and downloads...

And then a category called 'Tools & Resources' which is more for actual tools and gear one might purchase in a store; or perhaps a class to attend in person...

As for specific discussions; well many types of individual topics and themes suggest themselves for this kind of group. For example: Sea Survival; Jungle Survival; Emergency Medicine; (these could even be categories of their own).

Relevant subtopics might be:
Footwear Rec's; Trekking and Orienteering; Homemade-this or Homemade- that...Traps/snares; Siege Warfare; Best Binoculars; etc
