Jewel walked into the village holding Tomlin's arm to make it look less weird

Tomlin walked along, wearing clothes they had bought from the village to better blend in with the locals.

Jewel hated wearing a dress it made her feel really weird. She looked up to Tomlin "where do we wanna start" she asked him

"Blacksmith first, then move on to weapons dealer... If they even have one." Tomlin said.

Jewel sighed and walked to the blacksmith. She watched as she stood in the door then walked in and called "hello anyone here?"

"We would like to ask some questions?" Tomlin called, looking around. A curtain was drawn aside and a soot covered young woman poked her head through. "What do you want?" She asked gruffly.

jewel stepped away from tomlin "we would like to know if you have ever seen a broad sword with the syble of a bird on the hilt?" she asked giving a quick description of the sword

The woman glared at Jewel, "I haven't got time for stupid questions from stupid people. Now get out!" Tomlin held up his hands appeasingly, "please ma'am we only wish you ask you a few questions. It will only take a moment." The woman glared at him but when she got a good look at his face her demeanor changed. "Well why didn't you say so? Please, ask away." She said smiling, looking between Jewel and Tomlin.

Jewel sighed and sat back leaning on a desk. She just watched the women making sure she didn't touch Tomlin she moved a little closer to him

"We were wondering if you had seen or even heard of a broad sword with the sygil of a bird on the hilt?" Tomlin asked. The woman tilted her head and pursed her lips. "A broad sword with the sygil of a bird on the hilt? Sounds familiar, though I'm afraid I can't place it. Though if it's a sword you're looking for I have quite the selection right here." She said, almost flirtily. She looked at Jewel and made a shooing motion when Tomlin turned in feign interest of the swords.

Jewel gave a little laughed "I don't think so do you have any idea who I am" she said and moved closer to Tomlin. She looked at him in the eyes

"I don't know nor do I care who you are." The blacksmith woman said haughtily. Tomlin moved over to Jewel and put his arm around her and led her out. Ignoring the blacksmith as she snorted in disgust. "She wasn't of much help." He said, sounding optimistic for some reason.

Jewel was a bit shocked when he lead we out she sent a glare to the blacksmith. She leaned into his chest "I don't like her. The lets see it they have someone that sells weapons then shall we?" She asked looking up at him

Tomlin nodded and smiled crookedly, "the only reason you don't like her is because she was slightly attracted to me."

Jewel shock her head "nar I didn't like her cause she was rude and insolent how dare she speak to me like that" she fumed annoyed

"I'm sure that was it." Tomlin said, clearly amused by the whole situation.

Jewel rolled her eyes at him "Tomlin if I hated every girl or women that thought you attractive then that would be a lot of people to many to count. I'm just lucky I'm the one that has you" he said kissing his cheek

"That's oddly sweet. Now off to the weapons dealer." Tomlin said, striding through the village.

They looked over the town for the weapons dealer, jewel was smiling most of the time even know the girls were looking at Tomlin. They found the weapons dealer in the middle of the town with in a closed in shop they walked in

"Excuse me?" Tomlin said, tapping on a weapon ladden table to get the weapon merchant's attention.

The man came out "what do you want I'm very busy" he yelled coming out from the back room, he looked at them and crossed his arms.
Jewel looked at the man and let Tomlin go

"You'd better take this one."Tomlin said out of the corner of his mouth.

Jewel looked up at him and smiled, she turned her gaze back to the man "i would just like to ask you a few questions if thats all right" she said sweetly

Then man looked at tomlin then back to her "sure sweety what do you need?" he asked smiling at her leaning on theh bench

Tomlin coughed to cover his laughter. He may have been jealous if he didn't know Jewel could chew that man up and spit him out in her sleep if she wanted to.

Jewel bit her lip and looked up at tomlin when he coughed and glared at him knowing what he was covering, she smirked and leaned down on the bench near the man. "i need to know if you have come about a broad sword with a bird on the hilt of it?" she asked him putting charm in her voice, sticking her hips back to tomlin

the man looked at her and smiled "it sounds fimalir, a bird you say hmm it sounds like the secret army of the courts place" he said

Tomlin was itching to ask the weapons dealer who was making them but held his tongue. He knew any information the man spilled would only be spilled for Jewel.

Jewel smiled and battered her eyes "and do you know who is making these by anychance?" she asked running a hand down his chin and pulled away

He lookd at her and smirked looking into her eyes "i believe that they are coming from inside the castle, im sorry but thats all i know" he said softly leaning closer

"Okay time we go." Tomlin said, cutting in by grabbing Jewel's hand.

The man went to but in when jewel cut a gaze that told him to shut his mouth.
she let tomlin pull her out of the shop, looking at his back smiling. hse stoped and made him stop when they had walked a bit away

"So they're making their own weapons." Tomlin said thoughtfully.

Jewel turned him around to look at her "this is bad, we already have a disavantege as it is" she said looking into his eyes

Tomlin nodded, rubbing his eyes and pinching the bridge of his nose. "We'll need to find ways to generate more coins so we can buy more weapons, unless we can find a blacksmith and a steady supply of resources."

Jewel raised an eyebrow "you could always ask your blacksmith women" she spat. She sighed "lets think about that tomorrow shall we, I think I've had enough bad news for today" she told him kissing his cheek

Tomlin smirked, "I thought you said you weren't jealous. And you're right let's head back to the tower."

"im not i just dont like her" she said looking down annoyed, she took his hand and walked back to the tower "are we still off work now?" she asked hoping he got what she meant

Tomlin pulled her close, "we are definitely off work now."

Jewel smiled and her heart ached for him "good" she said softly and kissed his cheek, "let go to my room then" she said softly pulling her up to her room

Tomlin walked into the village, going straight to the blacksmiths.

Half an hour later Tomlin walked out of the village, feeling pleased but also nervous.
