No, you're looking at the right book, Pat. I think Nafi was just referring to some of the 2 star ratings on it.

I think it is safe to say this book has mixed reviews. Cause I know when I read it. There were plenty of high ratings that I saw for it. Then when I finished and added to some of the lower ratings, saw there was a couple 2 or 3 stars going on.

Yeah, it seemed like some ppl really liked it while others didn't so much (judging by the star ratings).

LOL. Don't think I noticed that particular tidbit about the author. But I do know she is very romance centric in her stories. I mean to the point that everything else is such a background feature and it's all about the guy chasing after the girl or vice versa. Which I found kind of suffocating when I didn't really like the couple.

Haha. I don't mind the centering of the story as long as it doesn't make things hm... boring so to speak? or something like that lol. I'm iffy on the main chars atm. Oh yea the friends relationship is one of the highlights that I liked about the series. But sometimes the couples just weren't my cup of tea either.

Lol, a book on the side chars might would be amusing.

Well each of the friends get their own book in that trilogy. The black chick does end up with "Thor" and the other one ends up with a Tiger.

I've gotten more into Pack Challenge since reading more of it. I really want to read Miki's (sp?) book later. That character is great, lol. (view spoiler)[The scene where Marrec (sp?) actually got up in Zach's face was good O_O. Is it just me or did it seem like the main female char, Sara, didn't bleed out a lot :s? It just didn't seem to be described much or maybe i was just super sleepy when reading that part, rofl. (hide spoiler)]

After finishing Pack Challenge i can say that i'm glad i read it. it was a different type of wolf story compared to the ones that i have read. i'm definitely looking forward to reading the rest of the books in the series.

Yea this series wasn't so bad. That Pride series was ok in some places and are you serious in others to me. Given that for the most part you are dealing with the feline shifters. And some of the dudes are uber arrogant. I guess it goes well with the cat persona. But for me it was just so ugh.
