Training Center
Caine slowly walked in with his hands in his pockets. He glanced around at all the stations. Then walked to some survival stations. He started to make traps. Violet was in corner covering herself from anyone.
Caine took a small bow. "Thanks." He glanced the sword in the dummy's stomach. "Impressive to you too." His mouth turned to a grin.
"No problem. I don't have much trouble with any weapons, but I'm not a master at any of them." A cocky grin still on his face. "I'm guessing you use swords?"
"It's either hand on or long shot. But both are effective." He picked up a small knife and threw it in a dummy's head.
He let go of her hand. "Just need to learn about traps and plant identification. Are you?" He asked with his hands behind his back.
He yanked the arrow out the the hand. "Aim it like a knife, not something foreign." Caine gave it to Dy and watched her.
Caine smiled. "See? You aim the same way for everything and you throw, shoot, and toss anything," he said. He got the arrow again and gave it back. "Try again, it may've been luck."
Caine watched the arrow and smiled wider. He was absolutely shocked by her hug which he didn't accept. He took a step back from Dy and blushed lightly. "It's fine..."
Caine attempted to smile and sat down in front of her. He got the bow without the arrow and aimed it at the side of his head. He pulled back the string and let it go. Then pretended to be dead as if there was an actual arrow in his head.
Caine laughed and held his foot after she kicked it. "At least we are talking, it wasn't like there was an arrow in the bow. Why did you freak out?"
(( Lol, you think I would make one of my characters die? *dramatic gasp* jk ))"You couldn't just look at my head for blood and the arrow?"
Caine watched her fingers fly. Then checked them. "I think they are all right," he said. He looked back at her and smiled. "I think the odds are in your favor," he said in a Capitol accent.
(( :P to you too ))"Well, everyone has a brain. But considering that you're amazing at sorting the plants out and how you are at weapons, then you'd last longer than me."
Caine blushed, he had nothing else to say. "Oh..." He put his hands behind his back and looked down, so she wouldn't see him blushing. Now the pressure was getting to him...
(( Kk. I'll check it out ))Caine took her hand off his shoulder and grinned slightly. "I know." Then frowned. "But the ones that are killed in the Games won't be as important because, well they're dead."
"Well what if we don't fight? We could let all the tributes live and they would live to tell the tale? So everyone is important and no one would have to do this anymore," he said with power and enthusiasm. His parents wanted to stop this all along. Why not carry the tradition on?
Caine looked up at the Gamemakers that were staring intently at them. "We can't talk about this here," he hissed. "They are watching us." He grabbed her wrist and led her out the Training Center.
Caine mashed the button on the elevator. "In here where no one can hear us." The door opened and he walked inside, waiting for her.
He pressed the top floor button and then opened a control box. "Not if I stop the elevator and the cameras." Caine rewired the cameras so they were off as the elevator came to a hault.
Caine grinned. "Thanks." Then sat down. "Are you okay?" He knew of claustrophobia and just in case...
He nodded. "Now we can talk..." Caine looked at her as multiple plans shot across his mind. He didn't want to do the Games and no one would exactly do anything if he died... so he wanted to make it worth fighting for.
Caine nodded. "Then pull a nightlock?" He liked the plan, he could zip through the Cornucopia and grab a few bags and weapons and hide with Dy. "Just as long as I can make a trip through the Cornucopia."
Caine nodded. "Okay fine, you promise me to not kill me behind my back." He knew that tributes from 4 are Careers and are prepared to win... for all he knew. He stood up along with her. "Cold?"
Caine nodded looked at his jacket. "Want to wear it? It will keep you warm, promise," he suggested, slowly unzipping it.
"I insist," he said zipping it down and putting it around her shoulders. "I go get some packs and weapons from the Cornucopia and then we find somewhere to hide and wait until it's just the two of us."
Caine nodded. "Deal." He smiled a little seeing she kept the jacket. He sighed. "Hold onto the bars, the Gamemakers may turn the elevator back on," he informed her.
Caine blushed a little when she said that. "Allies care about each other, I want to make sure you're safe." He held on the bars looking up at the cameras.
He smiled slightly. "You know I want you to live too. I really want to make sure you survive and go back to your family." He sighed. "I don't have any..."
Caine looked at her, his gaze turning cold. "Not you're fault... it's past." He looked back at the floor.

*Remember, tributes from lower districts generally don't have experience with weapons, while may have more survival skills. Careers tend to ignore the survival stations.
*Please keep it realistic. These kids will not fall madly in love in a matter of three days. They will not make out with each other. Katniss said that the Training Center was very awkward until people started looking for allies.
