There is a massive communications problem, though.

@Nikolas - The old mods (excluding myself) have become too busy to help moderate the group, so we thought they could step down give the opportunity to other group members. And we wanted to choose a more diverse group of mods. Annie explained it better in one of the other topics.

@Heidi - I see why you're concerned. However, I don't feel it's fair to exclude someone from being a mod simply because he/she doesn't speak English. Fortunately I and several other group members speak Spanish and we can help translate for Carlos if need be.

But... Carlos is only a moderator because he likes soccer...

I think Annie was kidding when she said that was the only reason we wanted Carlos to be a mod. Sometimes it's hard to tell if she's joking. You'll get used to it.

We thought Carlos would be a good moderator because he shows a lot of enthusiasm. Obviously he is passionate about soccer, and we predict that he will demonstrate the same amount of passion for writing and for moderating the group.
