Sebastian walked down the hallways at a brisk pace, his palms sweaty and his eyes flitting around nervously. For a moment they turned to the deadly shade of black that indicated his species, but he composed himself quickly.
He found a large column sticking out near the wall, and squeezed himself behind it. He took out a pocket knife and dragged it across his wrists, blood trailing behind it. He looked around once more, making sure no one was there. Just a silly vampire, he assumed.
He dipped his fingers into his blood, smearing intricate designs onto the wall. Unlike the rest of the stone wall, the bit behind the pillar was clean and looked almost new. It was unworn and hardly seen. A perfect place to hide the sigil in case of emergencies.
Once finished, he wiped the blood onto his pants leg, and shifted back out of the halls, towards the dining area.

Celestianna sees Sebastian. "Oh, hello. Again. You're certainly VERY nice," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

(Give me a second :) )

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

The young boy ignored her, blue eyes intent on the slip of parchment. He looked down at his pants and notice the smeared blood on them, for the millionth time adding another curse word in. After shutting his eyes for a moment the blood vanished, and the jeans were clean. He didn't falter a single step as he did this, still walking fast. He seemed to be getting closer to his locker, according to the number.

Skyra Rider turned the corner, quickly after signing up for dorms. She wondered who would be paired up with her. Skyra's dragon pendent lay perfectly into the hollow of her throat, her dark luscious hair seeming to frame her face. Her eyes weren't soft though, sharp. Skyra had a habit of taking in everything around her. Windows, exits, crowded spots in the hallways. Never hurts to know, she thought.

You couldn't tell who or what Skyra was just by looking at her. A fairly tall girl in leather clothes, her favorite kind. She brushed past people bustling by and ran smack into a male. Sebastian.

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

Sebastian only had time to inhale in surprise when the girl smacked into him. She wasn't running or anything, so it didn't hurt, but it knocked the wind out of his for a moment.
Some of his papers went flying. Let's rephrase that. Some of his more questionable papers went flying.
All of them seemed to be smeared in blood, with more designs on them. Some had drawings of creatures, others just lists on how to kill them and avoid them.
He didn't even have time to curse before he just sprawled out of the floor, snatching up most of them. He didn't care that they would get wrinkled; he just needed them out of mind and out of sight.

As Skyra fell back, a paper blew right below her back. She felt herself slam down onto the ground. How did that even.... he most be strong if he knocked me down. It was unlike Skyra to not be ready for anything. She took in a breath, replacing her lost breath and flipped herself up, turning to see the blood smeared piece of paper. Skyra's eyes narrowed, her face angled away from Sebastian. She bent down and picked it up, her memory seeming to take a picture of the list of creatures.

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

Once he had crammed all the papers into his bag, he looked upwards with an accusatory face, which quickly melted into a horrified look as he saw the last paper in her hand.
"Hey!" He shouted, ripping it from her grip, stuffing it into his back pocket. He stood up quickly, staggering a bit before glaring at her. "Watch were you're going, 'aight?" He said, bronze eyebrows furrowed together in a mix of frustration and agitation, though he managed to keep his voice smooth sounding.

message 18: by tara, The Golden Heir (new)

tara wolfprism (tarawolfprism) | 1061 comments Mod
Skyra, well, wasn't one to apologize easily. She had been about to utter the words though till cut off by his harsh ones. Her pendent seem to lighten into a light blue, a stage of agitation as well. "You're not as innocent either. I can say the same for you." But her mind wasn't on the conversation at this point, it was the list. She had seen every species she knew on that list....except hers. It was true though, her kind was one of the rarest, a true myth out of myth. Skyra's eyes were impassive, but someone with inner sight could see she was easily distracted by something. It wasn't like Skyra was working hard to hide it.

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

Sebastian's eyes blazed with accusation once he caught the off-look in her own. He grabbed her arm and brought her close to his face in an almost threatening move, before speaking in a very low voice.
"What did you read on that paper?" He had no idea which page she had stripped him of a minute ago, and he could tell she had at least scanned it. It could be something as simple as quick doodles of werewolves, or it could have been the entire history of his kind and major ways to kill them.

message 20: by tara, The Golden Heir (new)

tara wolfprism (tarawolfprism) | 1061 comments Mod
Skyra's pendent turned a bright orange the next instant, the blue melting away. Her eyes flashed gold, which signed that she was pissed. "Let. Go," she growled, and then added a mocking light tone after, "Then perhaps you can ask the question a little more nicely."

Ok, so Skyra was a rebel. Big whoop. She was reminded of her mother's words. 'Make good impressions for Heavens Sake Skyra. Honestly, don't get into fights.'

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Sebastian's eyes flickered black for a moment, pupils expanding to fill his eyes completely. Another blink and they were normal.
He considered shoving the girl into the lockers, or throwing a punch. It wasn't until then when he realized his free hand was already balled up into a fist, raised slightly. But then he remembered he had to lay low. One false move and the angels would swarm him, no matter the fact he was in a crowded school.
He let go dramatically.
"Fine." He spoke through gritted teeth, before bearing a fake looking smile. "Would you please be ever-so-nice to inform me of the information you read off of my private notebook page young girl?"

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

Celestianna stuck her hand out for Skyra to shake. "I'm Celestianna. That's a kid with anger issues." she said, motioning towards Sebastian. "And you are?"

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

"Private conversation occurring at the moment, if you don't mind butting out of other people's business." Sebastian said, his hands once again clenching defensively. Couldn't this girl just get lost?

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

Celestianna said, "Greeting people is usually part of manners. Then again, you obviously lack manners, so I guess you wouldn't know..."

message 25: by tara, The Golden Heir (new)

tara wolfprism (tarawolfprism) | 1061 comments Mod
Skyra smiled smugly at Sebastian as she was released, immediately taking a step back. Then she raised her eyebrows, obviously seeing he had a few inches on her. Not a big challenge in a fight. She easily smiled calmly back, not having to fake it, as her pendent shimmered into a light orange. "Just a list," she said vaguely, just to get back at him.

Skyra brushed past him. Anyone who was subject to that just like Sebastian couldn't see she didn't have pluck. But of course, she always had that temper.

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

Celestianna frowned. Doesn't anyone know about manners here? "Well, I take that back. Obviously NOBODY here is polite."

message 27: by tara, The Golden Heir (new)

tara wolfprism (tarawolfprism) | 1061 comments Mod
Skyra was so into the moment she connected eyes with Celestianna and smiled a bit, acknowledging her. "Name's Skyra." And with that, she walked down the hall. She stopped as she felt a gust of wind blow through her hair, looking at the opened window. She had an urge to jump and spread her wings.

message 28: by [deleted user] (new)

Sebastian exhaled with relief, running a hand through his hair. Just the list, nothing horridly awful. He secured his book-bag tighter on his shoulder. He was visibly calmer, but his hands were slightly sweaty and he was shaking a bit from the anger.
"Learn to love it, lady." He said to Celestianna, before frowning at the thought of the girl's necklace. He caught up with her after a few short moments.
"Hey, what brings you to this freak show?" He asked, referring the to school. He liked to pretend awful confrontations hadn't happened two moments ago.

message 29: by tara, The Golden Heir (new)

Skyra raised her eyebrows at Celestianna, her face hidden from Sebastian and then put on a disbelieving face on as she faced him. "Why would you care," then she added in a whisper, "daemon."
Of course she said it in Latin, for that's the way she learn to scent them. She had only smelled him as the wind blew his scent her way to her sharp dragon nose.

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

Sebastian narrowed his eyes for a moment, before shrugging. He was no doubt impressed with her Latin, but it did cause him to worry a bit. Best stay away from her before Sam gets with her. He thought to himself, before speaking.
"Only because your freaky necklace is very inciting. And I'm a very avid collected of knowledge on supernatural beings.

tara wolfprism (tarawolfprism) | 1061 comments Mod
"I could tell," Skyra replied, gritting through her teeth. She saw the species all right, with ways to kill them as well. Skyra wasn't about to add her rare species to the list. Her hand flew up to her necklace smoothly, covering the pendent as she started to briskly walk on. "I got it at an Antique Magic Store," she snapped.

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

"I'm sure you did." He said, nodding and smiling to himself.
"Look, I'm no idiot. I can tell when people are pulling stuff out of their asses." He gave her a frank look, a single eyebrow raised.
As he looked around the hallways, he felt slightly sad. The angels would probably end up killing of the kids in the school eventually, maybe even herding a bunch of hunters towards it. God knows how it's stayed hidden from hunters for such a long time. Not to mention those scrawny birds were notorious for having human relations every once in awhile.

Skyra rolled her eyes. "What do you really want to hear?" She stopped, turning toward him. Bad position really, because there was a indent in the wall to hide a few people. She clenched her teeth, staring right at him, trying to angle him away so he wouldn't see it.

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

"Just your species." He said. "Why won't you tell me? It's not as though it's some big secret; they make you reveal what you are in all those stupid first-day-of-class friendship exercises. This whole place is a freaking alcoholics anonymous, for God's sake." He exclaimed, tossing his hands in the air for added effect. "You can't hide it forever, so just tell me."

Skyra smiled, "Guess you'll have to wait for it then." Skyra hoped she wasn't in the same grade as this guy. That wouldn't work out well for her favor. She had let her hand drop, showing the dragon yin yang pendent once again.

Askeli briskly walked into the Hallway, her fiery red hair floating along behind her. She had her nose in a large book. It was called, Discovering Your Power. Honestly, how was she even a supernatural. Without looking up, she collided with a guy.

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

He smirked. "I have mad skills of persuasion, dearie, I'm sure I can get one of the weak werewolves to spill some information within the next day." His tone was bragging slightly as he looked into her eyes.
"How about you educate me on your species, and I'll educate you on angels?" The offer slipped out of his mouth before he had time to think about it, but he didn't mind very much. Angels were rare, very rare, even the best hunters didn't know much about them. Hell, Samael even seemed uncertain of his own kind.

A rare species for rare species. Her curiosity urged her right away, the dragon inside her stirring about this possibility about learning about the Angels. She was baited but not yet hooked. Skyra took a menacing step toward him, "But I'm not weak," she smiled, a hint of challenge in her eyes as she started to turn away, her eyes caught on a collision.

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

Askeli groaned and stumbled to her locker, still reading. She flicked through the pages. "Definitely not a shape-shifter, I mean, I've TRIED that...um...hmm..witch..no. Maybe an elemental? No. Perhaps I'm a banshee or a werecat or werewolf...I'm not a demon, am I?" Askeli yelled, "Help!" as her hair burst into flames.

message 40: by [deleted user] (new)

Sebastian smirked lightly, before feeling yet another slam in his back. "Jesus!" He yelled, his loud voice ringing through the hallways.
He whipped around, eyes brimming with anger. "I swear to God, all the kids in this school are grade A pains in the ass!"
He quickly noticed the girl was escaping his deal. That's when he realized another upperhand addition he had.
"How about we make a deal or something? I can promise you basically everything, being a demon and all." He waggled his eyebrows in a goofy manner, wringing his hands. Okay, he definitely needed to know about this girl's species now.

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

Askeli desperately tried to pat out her flaming hair, but for some reason, it felt eerily natural.

message 42: by tara, The Golden Heir (new)

Skyra felt the familiar heat of flames, energy calling to her. She heard Askeli's yelp and sprinted there, leaving Sebastian behind. Skyra had a good heart, and helping was something she did best. She touched the girl's shoulder, the energy of the fire going into her, her pendent glowing as she was human and it helped her control her powers.

message 43: by [deleted user] (new)

Askelie frowned, then her eyes grew wide. She groaned. "Of all the cool types of supernaturals I could be...a demon? Seriously?"

message 44: by [deleted user] (new)

"Watch your mouth." Sebastian snapped at the girl. He surveyed her with interest. She wasn't the same demon as him. She was either higher or lower on the ranks. He figured maybe a crossroads demon, but he wasn't sure. He'd never heard of a vessel's hair catching on fire whilst a demon inhabited it. He shrugged, before turning towards Skyra.
"If you wish to negotiate terms once you change your mind, feel free to just stop me whenever you see me." He told her, before waltzing back towards the library.

((Dammit I was going to move her there after she was going to run XD Got an idea))

She gritted her teeth. All Skyra wanted to do was find the library, distract herself in the world of books. The next moment she was gone. She had sprinted down the end of the hall, turned the corner into a deserted hallway and jumped. Out. The. Window. Landing on her feet, she knew the library was on ground level. "Here I go."

message 46: by [deleted user] (new)

((eheheheheheheh Sebastian owns 'dat library foolz.))

message 47: by [deleted user] (new)

Askeli seemed taken aback. Watch your mouth? What was wrong with being a demon? And wasn't this a school for oddities? She heard something cross Sebastian's mind...Crossroads demon? What was that supposed to mean?

message 48: by [deleted user] (new)

Sebastian made his way into the halls again. It was fairly late at night, so they were quiet. He whistled an off-beat tune, notably some Beatles song.
A blindingly white piece of paper caught his eye, and he walked towards it, picking it up off the ground. IT advertised a school dance.
Sebastian almost retched in response. Nothing sounded more horrid. Pretty blue snowflakes danced around the page, making it more vile. He crumpled it up and tossed it over his shoulder carelessly, almost snorting with laughter at the idea of a dance.

message 49: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jasminethetallirishflower) Walking through the hall, a piece of crumpled paper crashed into Sabine's head and fell to the floor. She stopped, looking down on it, picked it up and uncoupled it. It was a poster for the Winter Ball.
Surprisingly, her sadness was replaced with rage. Normally, Sabine tried not to get angry about things, but this was the tip of the ice berg. Did they want to rub it in her face?
She started to rip the poster into little pieces, and threw it high up in the air. It fell like confetti as she stormed away.

message 50: by [deleted user] (new)

Eve was lost. She cursed under her breath as she turned round a corner and starred into the very same hallway she seemed to have passed a few times already. Am I under some kind of spell? She wondered. She always had the best grades in school, and the only time she had gotten a below average mark, it had been on an orientation race in her primary school.
She was starting to lose her calm, getting angry at the very walls of this school. She took a folded paper from her jean's pocket where her locker number was written in her usual neat handwriting. She cursed again.
Ahead of her, she could see a puddle of shredded paper, ressembling snowflakes. She smiled; it made her think of her hometown in the Pyrennees.
Suddenly, the walls of the hallway flipped sideways and she felt herself slam against the ground. She stayed there, on the cold stone floor, wincing with pain. Her shoelaces had untied themselves. Again.
