so I just finished chapter 3 and something is definitely up with Nash. Does anybody else agree? I'm not sure whether he's the same as Kaylee or something different. Any ideas?
Hey I think he's definitely not letting on as much as he knows I kind of read chapter 4 too, and certain characters also have me confused there. I won't say anymore ;)
Oh, I'm looking forward to chapter 4 now! What is with his eyes!? Very odd. Also he seems to be putting a lot of stress on telling her dad. Wonder if there is more to her dad too? Hmm...

Nash was just way too accepting of the whole thing. I mean I think he cares about her but even if he was madly in love with her It'd still be something that's hard to come to terms with. Right? He just has to know more than he's letting on. There's way too much mystery around Nash and her dad for it to lead to nothing.
Also just generally putting it out there that I'm really intrigued by this book, I think it's started off really well and I'm happy that I've picked it up thanks to this readalong pushing me to
Nash definitely knows something. He's making her swear! Those swirling eyes are intriguing me more and more.
On a different note, have any of you read "The Mark?"
I think Nash is something special, but different from Kaylee. He definitely knows more than he's letting on. His quick acceptance is skeptical, but I like him. On the other hand, I'm afraid he's going to break her trust at some point.
Brianne- I think he will do something to hurt her down the line as well. I don't want him to do it, but he probably will.
I believe that Nash has some unreal stuff around him too. We just have to wait and see. He knows a lot.

Jen Nadol wrote "The Mark"; I just finished it last week.
Not quite the same as Soul Screamers but similar
I agree that Nash knows more than he lets on! I'm still in doubt if he will be on the good side or the bad...
I'm glad you are doing this chapter by chapter. Because in the Volume one book it is hard to figure out exactly how much of the book I've read (since the prequel and books 1 and 2 are all together). But it does tell me the chapters.Yes I think Nash definitely must know something. I am very curious to see if we will get more info in book one.
