Vanity Fair by William Makepeace Thackeray Vanity Fair

and

Cranford by Elizabeth Gaskell Cranford

The latter is such an interesting book, interweaving stories from the town. In spite of it being a different format than I've been used to reading lately, I'm really enjoying it!

I finished:

My Ántonia by Willa Cather My Ántonia

and just LOVED it! It is such an nostalgic, earthly type of novel, introducing the reader to small town Nebraska in the early 1900s. Cather did a wonderful job of pulling the reader into her world.
