(I hope it is ok for new members to post senarios!)

All your prepping has paid off. The sewage has hit the fan! Unfortunately, many other desperate souls were not prepared, and are now out to get your supplies! Ahhh!
You can choose only one weapon to protect your supplies and family. What do you choose, and why?

Pebbles | 51 comments Bow and arrow its silent deadly and you can make new ammunition

Nice choice! And you can have flaming arrows if need be.

notyourfriend (amemori) Thats tough.... But I think Id go with a knife. Im not afraid to get up close. Though I am goodish at using a bow and arrows... Not sure....

If I was any good at using a bow, that would have to be my choice, but I have been finding it hard not to go with an AA12. (my forbidden love)

message 6: by notyourfriend (new)

notyourfriend (amemori) Why forbidden?

I'm not a class 3 dealer. :(

message 8: by notyourfriend (new)

notyourfriend (amemori) Whats that mean?

Adrian (cheshireassassyn) | 27 comments Mod
An AA-12 is a 300 round per minute automatic shotgun. The class 3 is the level of licensing required to even have such a weapon. I do not remember all the requirements, but the average person ("civilian") doesn't qualify.

I would love to have a S.M.A.W, but thats not very practicle, so I would have to choose bow and arrow

message 11: by Pebbles (new)

Pebbles | 51 comments Um I personaly like bows and arrows and maby a 9mm and a rifle but bows dont make noise and you can reuse the arrows

message 12: by Pebbles (new)

Pebbles | 51 comments Or a sniper rifle with a silencer and a silencer is easy to make

message 13: by notyourfriend (new)

notyourfriend (amemori) Could you really use a soda bottle as a silencer?

message 14: by Adrian (new)

Adrian (cheshireassassyn) | 27 comments Mod
I don't think so.

message 15: by Pebbles (new)

Pebbles | 51 comments Yes you can because the noise comes from gases leaving the gun and a soda bottle dose work and a tennis ball also but you can only use it once

Adrian (cheshireassassyn) | 27 comments Mod
Wow. Thanks, Mitch. :)
I'm gonna try them out next time I shoot.

message 17: by Pebbles (new)

Pebbles | 51 comments OK just to let you know with the soda bottle you need to use a bigger on like a 2lt and you need to tape it on really tight so no gasses escape

Feliks (dzerzhinsky) | 32 comments I would choose a short-length, very well-made hand-axe; because that is also my #1 wilderness tool choice anyway. Needs no ammo; is light, tough, (practically unbreakable) and also very portable. The best implement for making or breaking camp; and it's also a fearsome hand-to-hand combat weapon. The indians knew this wisdom for sure... theirs were called tomahawks, naturally.
