***Introduce Yourself***
Hi I'm Shona a 35 year old mother of 4 who somehow finds time to read. I will read almost anything but prefer paranormal and urban fantasy.
HI! :) Im Erika, a 16 going on 17 student. At first i dont like books but then came a book report project for my last grading when i was in grade 6. It was such a good experience that i asked for another book to read until i just kept on reading and reading and reading!
I read any type of genre and i enjoy it all :)

Wow! this is my first time to meet and talk to a published author, it feels amazing :) i read anything interesting nowadays and sometimes just through pdf's and ebooks since i cant obtain every book i like.. im more drawn in if there's a little bit romance in a book but i dont why im hooked to suspense and life changing books sometimes. It just depends on my mood..
Nice meeting you Ms. Kerry :) I opened your profile and found out you wrote observation city! I like cupid :) im going to try your book out :)
Oh wow thanks Erika! How nice of you! please let me know how you like it. Ill give you a tip as i feel all books should be made financially available for everyone (and shipping is so much these days!) http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/Obser...
They're cheap, awesome AND have free shipping, as a reader they are my favourite i was so excited when they picked up my book! if you jump on my profile you can hit a link to join me at FB if youd like.
I look forward to chatting with you!
I love a good true story and 'life changing' or 'inspiring' book aswell!
x

Love it :) Congrats on the start of it on GR x
Hi, 1st thanks for letting me join you allI'm Vikki 32 and mother of two children, i work on a busy intensive care neonatal unit so love nothing better than to come home to a good book, with great characters, and loose myself in their world
I have always loved books and have had a Kobo for just over a year now and absolutely love it, especially since finding goodreads!
Look forward to "seeing" you all
Hi, thank you for adding me :)I'm Sadie, I'm a debut novelist and I live in Devon, England (which is pretty peachy this time of year!). In my spare time I enjoy horse riding, scuba and sky diving. I've spent quite a bit of time travelling in the Middle East.
I love a good book. Michael Ondaatje is my favourite author (though even as a grown up, I still have a soft spot for Roald Dahl). I like romance, but not so much the hearts and flowers kind. I like something a bit more pithy and edgy.
Anyway, thanks for the add and I look forward to chatting and picking up some recommendations.
Hi there all!My name's Kimi, and I'm 24 from Blackpool, England. I am a sort-of bookseller (I work temporary contracts every few months for Waterstone's when they need me), photographer and a book addict!
I am a crazy cat lady, and I have two furbabies - Satsuki and Bump - who are usually both curled up on me when I'm reading!
I drink much too much tea to be considered healthy, and believe that a good cup of tea can fix anything.

Hi all :) Thank you for the invite!I'm Tammy, I live in Ontario, Canada, I'm a Domestic Goddess (aka stay at home mom) I have 3 kids, (1 child and 3 dogs) a 9yr boy, and 3 -4 legged kids, if I lump my hubby in to it then I have 5. I'm in my early 30's and about to celebrate my 13 years with the most understanding man. ( he indulges my obsession with book)
I read everyday, it is my escape from the tedious, I read pretty much anything I can get my hands on, but it seems like most of the books on my bookshelves are some sort of paranormal.
Hi all!

Hi! I'm Shannon. I live in Cheyenne, Wyoming, but I call Texas home. I am a 37 year old mother of 3, and married for almost 18 years. I have been dispatching for Wyoming Highway Patrol for 10 years now, and love to read in my down time! I like mostly paranormal, but I also love the classics and other genres, too. Thanks, for the invite!
I am Sherrel Lee author reader and amazed at all the talented people I have met through various venues, I am very family centric and have amazing grandsons. I rarely admit that but they so make life more interesting and have introduced me to writers I hadn't thought to read. They also keep me in touch with all the action movies, sci fi fantasy works and inspire some of my characters. Thanks for having me as part of the group!

Hi everyone!Thank you for inviting me to join your group!
I am a mum to a 17 yr old who also loves reading and blogging, she has 2 blogs http://www.rai29bookreadnreview.blogs...
but that's enough about my daughter as you asked about me! lol!
I am a full time carer to my mother and have a few health issues so enjoy reading and blogging as they are hobbies I can handle. My blog link is http://jeanzbookreadnreview.blogspot....
I love reading books and talking about books too.
Hello everyone,I'm a mother of two teens (15 and 17) and a full-time writer (of YA paranormal) living in Portland, Oregon. I'm also an avid reader of YA of all kinds (especially fantasy, sci-fi, paranormal, and dystopian/apocalyptic). This group has such a nice, friendly, intimate feel. Can't wait to get to know you all and share some booky goodness together.
Hey everyone! Thanks for the invite to this group--how fun! I LOVE reading more than I love eating--and that's saying a lot because I am a foodie to the core! I also LOVE to write. So much, in fact, that I wrote a fantasy YA book last year, titled Feast Island. The last great YA series I read was the Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare. I recently read another trilogy, The Darkest Powers by Kelley Armstrong, and really enjoyed that. Looking forward to this group!

Hey, my name's Kelly. I'm a 27 year old and childless. I spent many hours reading and will read just about any genre. My favorites are fantasy, non fiction (specifically autobiographies of my favorite musicians), horror and chick lit. Joined this groups in hopes to meet new people who love to read and to discover new books :)
Greetings friends, readers, and writers. I am Richard Alan, a grandfather and author. Fantasy is my first love which is being expressed in a thoughtful vampire series at this time. My wings carry me from horror to whimsy with ease and whatever I am working on it will always be much more than first expected by myself and my readers. You know how those voices in the head turn to characters and characters love to run away with the story when given a lengthened leash. Writing is an affair, and I am enjoying that part of the journey with bells on. I hope to stay with this and not find myself chasing another runaway train like Facebook. Some of you are very dear friends so feel free to nudge me if I get lost ~:^D>
Hiya. My name is Kyle. 29. I work as tech support. My imagination is my passion and my wordsmithery (totally just smithed that word into existence ^_^) is my vocation. I like SHORT walks on the beach if I have company. I'm a Pisces. I'm a genius, technically. I use it for nothing useful. ;) Everyone love me please.
As for what I read and write etc: I tend towards the less mainstream, though accidentally. I have no "statement" to make by not reading too much mainstream stuff. It just turns out that way. *shrug* As for writing: Poetry wise I must confess, with shame, that I write nothing but sappy love/women related things. As for stories and novels I like to write fantasy/scifi. When I say scifi I dont mean the ABSURD kind like... "... then an alien walked in, with 40 fingers, the color of russet leaves, it spoke in clicks and hoots and was dressed in a kilt." I mean... scifi thats SET in the future or has some kind of believable mechanics behind it. ^_^
That is all. <3

Thanks so much for the invite, Shona! I'm so happy to be here. I'm Rosanna Leo and I write erotic romance for Liquid Silver Books. I am the author of several romances, all of which can be found here on GR. I love reading, love the paranormal world, and the men of mythology make my toes curl. Oh, and Nutella is very important to me. :)
lol Welcome! Can someone explain this Nutella thing to me? I'm Canadian and I don't get it at allllll.... >_>
Kyle wrote: "lol Welcome! Can someone explain this Nutella thing to me? I'm Canadian and I don't get it at allllll.... >_>"Kyle, thank you...but I am also Canadian!! No explanation necessary...my friend, you need only crack open a jar.
You can thank me later.
Oh I KNOW what Nutella is. I find it entirely unappetizing... ew. I don't get why there's so many memes and jokes and stuff... I mean... what's that about????
Kyle wrote: "Oh I KNOW what Nutella is. I find it entirely unappetizing... ew. I don't get why there's so many memes and jokes and stuff... I mean... what's that about????"That I can't tell you. Maybe it's an Italian thing, which would explain me liking it. I sneek spoonfuls wherever I can. It's a sickness. LOL
It's good to see the interactions beginning; thank you Kyle and Lisa. As for 12 years old, no worries, out of the mouth of babes comes wisdom that sometimes escapes those with more years. Stick with us Erica! You are very welcome. And Bart, it's good to see another guy taking part even though I have always befriended women much easier. So hi to all. May we prosper by diversity!
