Have you set a target for the amount of books you want to read this year?

I am aiming for just one more book than I read last year. So my aim is 135 books. I'm currently reading book 48 of the year. Yeah I dont know where I get the time either lol

I set my target at 72 books this year. Most people think that I won't be able to hit it, but so far I am 4 books (5%) ahead of schedule!

I joined Goodreads Septemberish last year and read 20 odd books in that time, so I set my target quite low this year and had to up it! Its set at 70 now, Im on book 27 and 6 books ahead of schedule

Ive set mine to 50 but behind schedule at the moment! hoping to pick up a bit more over the summer months and catch up enough to reach target

I set my goal of 65 books, 5 books more then what I read last year.

I havent set any kind of challenge. Doesn't make sense to me. I read for pleasure. There are no goals. I want to read, so I read. I'm not trying to GET anywhere. lol ^_^

I've set mine to 100 and I'm behind, but my reading pace is usually uneven, I kind of read in binges:) So I'm still optimistic that I'll reach my goals before the years out!

Yes, for now it's 150 books, but I've already read 80 so I'm thinking of raising the goal.

Wow I really never thought of how many books I read in a year - I'll have to count last year and get back to you - do text books count :}

Wow you are all quite ambitious! I've set a goal of 30 books for myself because I wanted it to be realistic. I would love to read 100 though! So far I've only read 9 since January. Just can't find the time.

I try to read all of my 300+ books in my room each summer
